This place was AWESOME! From the front door the seat, I felt at home. Hannah, our waitress was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu, she was courteous and very kind. I will definitely be back. We oder a lil bit of everything & it was awesome. Totally should have taken pics before we devoured the meal. The Ahi tuna bowl is a keeper I will definitely be back for that meal. "I'm hooked on Hank's" now! Thanks for an awesome experience & & an even greater meal.

This was my family's first time visiting Hank's. Their location is perfect for Massanutten Resort guests.
Hank's staff was very welcoming. Our waitress shared how our food was prepped in-house and explained the flavorful taste we would expect if we selected Dry Rub over Naked ribs.
We could instantly distinguish the freshness of our salads. Farm to table.
Hank's is a hidden gem. The appeal from outside may not catch your eye, but once you enter inside, you'll notice that they didn't spare no expense for interior design. (including the clean bathrooms)
Our food was delicious, our cost for 3 was $50, (not including tip) and we certainly plan on visiting again.

Great BBQ
The cheddar cornbread, ribs, and fried catfish are all delicious. The KC Mustard Sauce is a standout among the bbq sauces provided on the table.

Atmosphere and service were both great, restaurant is clean and welcoming.
The food was meh. Sweet potato fries and regular fries were both good. We had the pulled pork (which we liked) and the ribs - they were mostly dry and difficult to eat (but well flavored). Also ordered the cornbread, which was also very dry and we didn’t even finish half of a small cornbread between 4 people.
Overall, would return again with lower expectations.

My family stopped here for lunch midweek. We were seated right away. My kids loved the selections on the kids menu. Our server was great, very attentive. Everyone enjoyed their food. The ribs were tender and the cornbread was fantastic. We would definitely go here again for lunch or dinner

Visited 1/3/24 I ordered the shrimp and grits (no pico). The previous pictures I seen of the shrimp and grits had more bacon & less sauce. It seems like it is made different each order
I loved it! It needed more grits & had too much sauce. The other dishes fried cat fish, she didn't like it & switched to ribs. Pull pork sandwich w/Mac and cheese & mashed potatoes. She loved it. Pulled chicken and brisket w/greens & mac and cheese. She loved it. Service was great. The food came out in less than ten minutes. The server was a female named L.eanna
