Looking for breakfast near the clinic I was visiting, I found Hanks bagels and ordered a lox bagel on a rosemary sea salt bagel. Now I’ve had bagel in my time… but this one was probably the best I’ve ever had. Seriously! The bagel itself was fresh and delicious, and the combination of lox, veggies, capers and cheese, in a nice quantity I must add, was absolutely amazing. I was going to eat half the bagel and keep the other half for later… well, that went out the window once I tasted it.
I will be back!

Hank’s Lox bagel is just so fresh and so flavorful, I’m always craving it. This is my first time going to Hank’s in Burbank, and it’s as great. We also tried the pretzel bagel, it was delicious. We also had the potato salad, I recommend.
Staff is very attentive and sweet.
The only thing I wish for is that they had actual plates for the dine in option. The to-go box creates so much waste… though this is a problem all over LA unfortunately :(
best bagels on the west coast by far!! they have a chewy, harder edge and are soft and fuffy inside. their sandwiches are awesome, and it’s easy to see why they have a long wait. the no.1 sandwich has a runny egg and a candied maple bacon that’s cooked really well. a simple bagel and cream cheese is also outstanding.
while there’s usually a long line, they’re moving pretty quickly given the number of orders. it’s best if you place your order online and pick it up though. the online ordering experience is easy and the interface is good.
they have special flavors on certain days of the week, and this week they added a serrano cheddar bagel.
this location has a lot of seating in front and a quieter covered area down the alley way. there’s a wheelchair accessible entrance and table in the back. no bathrooms though.
Tasty bagels, fresh ingredients! I really liked their signature bagel, with lox and an interesting choice of veggies!

Although newly opened, Hank’s is well on its goal of becoming the bagel spot for your Sunday coffee catch ups. Located right near Toorak station, the cafe offers ease of public transport or plenty of street side parking for those who want to drive.
coffee is divine and they offer the option of a soy matcha as default for those who are big coffee fans.
As for bagels, I’ve tried the pork fennel sausage, smoked salmon with cream cheese and poached chicken. All three are delicious but the smoked salmon and poached chicken definitely win.
Give this place a go next time you’re in the mood for a good bagel!
#1 / fried egg, bacon, tomato, cheddar, aioli on plain bagel - 5 🌟!
Onion bialy bagel with scallion cream cheese - 5 🌟!
I had an unexpected visit to the area recently and had time to kill so I asked a local what I should try and they told me about Hank's. I love a good bagel sandwich and the #1 hit the spot. Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful and they had steady business the entire time I was there.
I had never tried a bialy style bagel before and since I'm a hearty eater I grabbed one. They basically drop a lovely onion puree/jam on top of an onion bagel. I think the cashier said something about how it is baked differently but don't quote me on that!
Great spot with lots of easy street parking out front.
Delicious bagels and bagel sandwiches! #1 is my favorite!! #5 was great! The coffee is really good quality as well. The sitting area on the back is perfect to chill and enjoy your order. Remember is only open until 2pm
Really good bagels and spicy peppers. 5/5
But their customer service is awful. The one white girl who works there let her friends cut in line of me and two other people, she then proceeded to talk to them for 5 min before walking in the back for another 2 min leaving us to wait for her. She has no respect for other peoples time.

Was never a bagel fan and always needed to toast my bagels. But this place doesn't toast their bagels and yet they taste absolutely fantastic - soft with a great chew and flavorful.
Everything bagel w/ jalapeno honey cream cheese w/ extra honey butter - delicious and would get again. Perfect amount of cream cheese too.
Number #1 egg bagel was really good - the maple bacon was perfect and all the flavors went well together without anything overpowering.
