Not your ordinary mamak restaurant. From its setup, seating arrangement or their food station was super clean and organized. Kudos to that. Staff members are always ready to serve and very helpful. The food was delicious. But, the price is otherwise. A plate of Nasi Kandar plus fried chicken can be around RM11.00. Bit pricey compared with other NK vendors. But overall, it was an outstanding and well maintained establishment. Went here during lunch time, 12pm ish. There was no queue. I hd chicken bawang, telur sotong and peria goreng. Guess what, the price is RM55. IMO, the original hameediyah in Penang is far better than this. Not sure what is the difference. 1. Fried Chicken - crispy on the outside, juicy tender inside. ❤️ it. 10/10 rated. 2. Salted egg - mehh. Not salty enough. 7/10 rated. 3. Gravy - can be better. There aren't enough spices to give a super kick. 4. Fried bitter gout - mehh. It's not crispy & and a bit oily. I have eaten better cooked one. 5. Iced Masala Tea - somehow, i like it. 6. In this weather, it's nicer to sit inside. Total foodie verdict - 80% sedap yet can be better to top up the hype of Hameediyah Bistro. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good food with nice seating environment. You can order from the menu or choose your own nasi kandar combination in the shop. Heard that the prices was more expensive than the outlet in Penang. I've had Nasi Kandar at their Penang Branches a few times. The first best version was at their original branch. The others were so so. This was the second best one. The chicken was well-seasoned. The gravy was delectable. I wish they scooped more of it as the rice was quite bland towards the end because it wasn't mixed with the gravy thoroughly. Still, it was great.. However the price was quite steep as a plate of briyani rice with kapitan chicken, boiled egg, green chilli, cucumber salad and a plate of Nasi Kandar with fried chicken, half salted egg , papadom cost us RM38.70 - the average was about RM19.00 per plate. Drinks were two iced lime drink, iced tea and mocktail drink and they were RM30.00 The premise was beside Petronas which also had McDonald Drivethru. So, it was a strategic and convenient place to bring a family. The parking spot was quite limited though as there were also other food stalls near the area. Spoilt for choices, as a nasi Kandar connoisseur I have to admit the aroma and presentation mirror to Penang but the taste somehow need improvement. Don’t get me wrong it will still satisfy your cravings for nasi kandar. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

A nice place for nasi kandar. This place has its roots from the famous Penang nasi kandar. Nice selection of "Kuah" and curries. Really recommend their Ayam Bawang. Full of flavour. White rice with kuah campur, curry, 1 veggie and 1 chicken came about RM16.50. It can be on the high side but it taste so good. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This is the KL outlet of the famous nasi kandar in Penang. Food quality wise is very good, absolutely delicious. Be prepared to pay a premium price for food here though. I had ayam kapitan, sotong and fried bitter gourd, these with a glass of teh ais set me back MYR37.50. Come for the food, not for the service. Comparing this branch with the one in Bukit Bintang, the BB one has almost everything better. This Ampang one has smaller chicken, higher price tag for the same dish, worse environment because this branch is often full and you have to have luck to secure the table, and you can hear the busker playing from outside (if you're not into it). Although it does have better service. The staff is quite friendly especially its manager. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

the food is surprisingly just average. i went to the original branch in Penang, there is an obvious difference in quality. the chicken did not absorb the flavours and the telur ikan is quite tough to bite. i pressed the service button to call for an order of teh tarik 3 times, never came. the environment is okay, well ventilated, not too hot. parking is relatively ok at the roadside. price for briyani, 1 piece fried chicken, 1 telur ikan and 1 veg is RM24 lol. a bit on the high side, not worth it for this average quality, can get better at round rm15-20 range at a lot of other places. But I will definitely go back to the Penang branch again when i visit Penang, that one is definitely worth it, yummzz. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
