I had bacon and sausage halusky. Bacon was lovely (like pork scratchings) but the sausage was chewy. Enormous portions so much so that I couldn't finish the meal. They did provide a container to take away the remainder. The building inside was freezing, so much so that when I left it was warmer outside. The service however, was excellent. The place is overrated and overpriced. Food tastes good, thats true. But not for such incredible prices! 10.50€ for bryndzovy halusky (made not even from potatoes). With this prices they can afford to give you a small welcome drink (shot of medovina) to the order. Even so, they receive lots of people (probably because this is the only highly reviewed restaurant in the area) but in our case only for a single visit and never again. Food was very nice, service was excellent and fast. I had Halusky with lamb meat and it was very delicious. 1 star down for dogs and cards which are not welcomed and accepted here.

Really nice service and great food. If you want to try something authentic this is it. Their soups were amazing, we have tried almost all of them. Good place to try nice pirohy and halusky as well! We have got also complimentary honey liquor. I can definitely recommend this place👏😋

Very good food - both the demikat soup and halusky with bacon were delicious. Portion sizes were quite generous. Nice waitresses and fast service. Local craft beer on tap. Very good location in the center of Terchova. We even received medovina shots on the house. Would have give 4* but they are cash only which is quite ridiculous in this day and age.

Super expensive meal. Absolutely not worth it for that price or service either. I recommend nicer presentation of "sulance s makom, s orechami", and add more sugar. Also if gnocchi was homemade, would be very appreciated. This meal cost 7,50 euro and unfortunately it was not tasty. My family members tried Halušky and they didn't like it either. After we paid one of the staff put on our table sign "reserve", (even though we were still sitting there and finishing our food), probably to get rid off us. But otherwise staff is very friendly and kind. However we will not go there again.

Haluskaren stands for its name, they serve very, very good bryndzove halusky. We sat outside. I am not sure if there's inside seating, but would be great, especially during rainy days like today. Servants were nice though. I recommend to visit and taste slovak cuisine.
