Service was great props to the bartender. Paid almost $40 for a not so good prime rib steak. Honestly I can not recommend this place to others. Lacking the brine and full flavors like I remember from the previous couple owners. The loaded baked potato was quite a joke also. 1/2 tablespoons of cheese and a half table spoon of bacon in a small cup with a lid. You dump it on. Portions size for a 1/4 potato not a full bake potato. One cube of butter and a tube of sour cream. Also came with coleslaw which wasn’t that bad. They were out of buns so wasn’t included with meal. Very bland steak and for the price, I was just not impressed. Will not be back. After this visit I no longer have the craving for the prime rib like I did in the past with the quality of the previous couple owners.I Asked for their finest cut, Owner was the cook so no excuses. I was served a poor cut of prime rib. Over cooked for medium rare, bland and chewy. Not melt in your mouth like before. Total for the prime rib meal and two drinks coast $53. I went to Marry Cody’s in onalaska same day and tried their prime rib. Wow. Night and day difference. Sorry to be so harsh I was so disappointed with the steak I had to be honest and needed redemption so went to another establishment. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

One of those out of the way places but great staff, great food (especially the fish dinners) and place to hang and have some bev-ies 🍺🍹. 15 min drive from Holmen, on the corner in Stevenstown.
