Very tasty food! We stayed in the bungalow next to the restaurant for 2 weeks and were eating there a lot, because it was so good. Prices were also good. And they had also non-spicy food for our small kids, they loved their fried rice. The ladies working there are very nice.

Fantastic food with fantastic view.
Found this place on google and it’s supposed to be the world’s best restaurant. I can actually tell that I had the best fish I’ve ever had. It was so fresh. We ordered so much food to taste and I can’t even remember their names, but they all were delicious. It’s run by a Thai family, they’re really nice and friendly.

Haad Bang Po is undeniably a hidden gem on the tropical paradise of Koh Samui, Thailand. The main draw here is undoubtedly the breathtaking beach location and the mesmerizing sunset views. This picturesque destination is perfect for those seeking a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The highlight of Haad Bang Po is unquestionably the stunning sunset experience. Whether you're sipping on a rum-loaded coconut or enjoying a cold local beer, the backdrop of the sun dipping below the horizon is nothing short of magical. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing sundowner, and the ambiance during this time is truly unforgettable.
However, Haad Bang Po falls short when it comes to its dining options. While the setting is impeccable, the food served here is rather disappointing. Not only is it average in terms of taste, but it also comes at a premium price compared to many other restaurants and bars nearby. If you're a food enthusiast looking to indulge in the rich and diverse Thai cuisine, you might want to consider exploring other dining establishments in the vicinity.
In conclusion, Haad Bang Po is an excellent choice for those who want to soak in the natural beauty of Koh Samui while enjoying a memorable sunset with a refreshing beverage in hand. However, if your primary focus is on dining and culinary experiences, it might be wise to look elsewhere.

Don't be fooled by the shabby hut look alike restaurant. This place served the most authentic Thai home cooked food and the place is run by a local Thai family. You must try the fresh steamed fish with garlic&lemon. The best I had so far. The fish is fresh! We love the fried "Liang" vege with garlic and have to order twice! Too tasty. You won't regret coming here for a meal and is wallet friendly. We also had Tom yum gong, (fav) and chicken fried rice. Love the food, the atmosphere and friendly owner. The restaurant has a beach front facing seats.

A favourite on Bang Por beach (north end) since 2006, same owner's, wife is the main chef. Wait staff have changed but the menu is the same.
Food and beach setting is the highlight.
Decor, bathrooms nothing much to mention. Bills are hand written, TV always playing in the inside area, very local feel.
Value for money.
Thai food is better than the western food.
Large tables and a few traditional sala"s for sitting and an indoor area good if its raining.
A few signature dishes are the curry omlette, clear tom yum kung soup, nam prik (thai dip served with fresh veg) you need to ask for this.
Enjoy!

One the best beach side seafood restaurants anywhere on any island. Excellent service by the matron who told us what was fresh today. A few dishes she suggested were not on the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, might be back as soon as tomorrow.
Food is amazing. We ordered Paad Thai, stir fry morning glory, shrimp paste cake and steamed chilli lime fish. WHAT A GREAT MEAL WITH AN AMAZING VIEW. you have to visit if you’re in Koh Samui! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😚😚
My wife and I had dinner here. The restaurant is literally right on the beach. You can dig your feet and toes into the sand. The views are amazing. Being on the north shore of Samui you can see all of Ko Phangan. This alone makes this place worth a visit even just for a drink. The seating is a mixture of huts and tables which makes its great during the day for lunch or equally at night. The atmosphere is very chilled. The staff were very polite and attentive though not bothersome. They were always happy which is great to see. The food was delicious. We had the prawns tempura though it was more like battered prawns than tempura. Nonetheless it was tasty. We also ate spring rolls, fried rice and the best dish was the barracuda. We were quite pleased with the food and the whole experience.
