Fantastic gyro. Perfectly done. Just had the regular Gyropolis gyro, and it was perfect. The side of potatoes was also great. Perfect lemony, olive oily, and great spices. So delicious. It's a little place, clean and very nice, but only seating for 20-25. Most people take out. Very elevated for fast food...for instance, I didn't get a salad, but peeking at a neighbor, it looked great! I have eaten here many times in the past, and have enjoyed the food. However on Mar 1st '24 something was wrong. My takeout order was cold, and tasteless. It was like someone forgot to season the gyro. All the ingredients were there, but no enjoyment was derived when eating it. About 8 hours later, I had multiple bouts of diarrhea. What a disappointment!! What happened?? I used to love this place. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Pretty good experience. Ordered online, to go, and when I arrived, 8 minutes after ordering, the food was ready for me to pick up! I ordered the Athenian gyro which was pretty good and hot. My only complaint is gyro had a very strong vinegar taste to it which was a little off putting. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I've been a handful of times, and each time has been phenomenal! The food is delicious and the service is fast. The food is served line-style (think Subway/Chipotle, but gyro style), so you move through the line too fast to really get any employee interaction, but as far as I can tell, the staff all seem very friendly. Hands down the best gyros I have had outside of Chicago. There aren’t many places in MN that can measure up to what I had growing up, but Gyropolis is one of them! Their gyros are exactly right and the Greek fries are seasoned perfectly - add feta! Thank you for the excellent food and friendly service. I’m so happy you’re going strong and expanding soon! Gyropolis in Bloomington is a hidden gem of a restaurant that packs a punch in flavor and friendliness. Nestled in a cozy space, we arrived just before the dinner rush, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. I opted for the veggie gyro, which turned out to be a superb choice. The accompanying side of fries, drizzled with their delectable $1 hot sauce(pricey for a side of sauce imo), was a delightful surprise. The hummus was perfectly textured, a creamy delight to complement the meal. Don't skip the fries, and if you're feeling adventurous, the spicy flavored ones are a must-try. What truly sets Gyropolis apart is the warm and welcoming staff. I appreciated their attentiveness, particularly when I requested a glove change due to my vegetarian preference – they happily obliged. Clean restrooms and ample parking add to the overall convenience, although the popularity of this spot means parking can fill up quickly. One suggestion for improvement would be to use tongs when assembling salads and fillings. This would prevent any cross-contamination with meat and ensure a worry-free experience for vegetarian patrons. In sum, Gyropolis deserves a solid 5-star rating. Having visited multiple times, I can confidently say it's a Twin Cities favorite that I'll continue to frequent. The fantastic food and hospitable atmosphere make it a must-visit for anyone in the area. They offer a selection of traditional gyro meat as well as pork and chicken. Gyros are done in a handful of styles, all are delicious. Don’t miss out on the spicy tzatziki sauce or the fabulous sides. Current location is small, but the line moves quickly, good idea to get there before noon. Gyropolis is the best - highly recommended!
Love a good gyro and this place provided just that. Good service and good seasoned gyros with French fries. Good french fries are a must with a good sandwich. The spanakopitas were good to, baked fresh daily the store said. They have outside patio seating as well as indoor seating. The cashier was friendly and made good suggestions so I wasn’t disappointed when my food came. Overall a great experience! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
