AMAZING! food was beyond amazing. hummus i could die for, gyro, chicken, pita, falafel, salad, all the side sauces included were above and beyond amazing and delicious. Food tasted like I was dining in but I did takeout. EVERYTHING was perfect and delicious even with my picky eating. Moe, in the kitchen, was very nice and accommodating to my food preferences and super friendly. Very nice service at the register. Tables were super clean to wait at too! No dust in sight. Amazing food. Amazing desserts as well and so many drinks to choose from. My first time visiting Gyro Grill and will be back next payday and the one after that. Highly highly recommend eating here!! I was searching the Kenosha-Pleasant Prairie area for a restaurant with high quality clean good food, (not burgers and fried cheese curds, which I do not eat) and was fortunate to come upon Gyro Grill. The owner (maybe) was so warm and accommodating when I asked for a customized salad with certain chicken and went above and beyond making me the best salad. My daughter had the chicken Shawarma platter, which came with a large generous portion of chicken, rice, and hummus, along with a side of I believe garlic sauce. She loved it and said it was delicious. I don't eat gluten and was thrilled that they had baked potatoes on the menu. The potato was the hugest baked potato I have ever seen, and was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend Gyro Grill! I'm unable to think of anything I didn't like, everything was outstanding - the food, quick service, location and the warm caring customer service. This restaurant is my favorite mediterranean place in Wisconsin! The customer service is amazing and the food was delicious. I always get the gyro with fries and their fresh hummus, and it’s so good. They also go the extra mile, the manager checks to ask how our food is. I always tell my friends and family to visit this place because I just can’t get enough. The best food in town, the shawarma platter is my go to, but the variety of food they offer burgers, wings and all of the sides are amazing. It's also nice that they offer door dash, every time I order the food comes fresh and warm. Also can't forget the deserts are delicious. The staff is so nice, Omar's service is top notch! Visiting Kenosha from the Chicagoland area where we honestly have some of the BEST food. This place was REALLY GOOD. I ordered a gyro platter and was pleasantly surprised. The platter came with a pita, hummus, feta, taziki sauce, a tomato/cucumber salad and really REALLY good seasoned fries. HUGE portions- i had enough food for two days! They also carry authentic Middle Eastern pastries. The young man working the counter on Saturday evening (around 5pm) was very friendly/courteous and welcomed me as soon as I walked in - even wished me a great evening on my way out. Overall it was great food and great service.
Not vegetarian friendly!! I couldn’t even eat my food it was gross. I ordered a pita wrap with no meat, Romain lettuce cucumber tomato Kalamata olives green peppers chick peas and feta (I’ve never heard of vegetables being cooked before added to your gyro) The lettuce was brown and wilted my camera makes it look a lot nicer than it actually did lol. The pita was completely soaking wet because they cooked the tomatoes and peppers and everything that would normally be fresh and cold and crispy on top of your gyro. It was all hot and soggy and the pita immediately ripped in half. Now I’m on my way the store to get a fresh pita and some romaine lettuce and vegetables that aren’t all soggy. To make it worse I bet into my spinach pie and it was still frozen in the middle!! There was SOOOOO much Mayo on my husbands Pilly he couldn’t eat it. The only thing I ordered on the Philly cheesesteak was double meat and extra cheese. Not extra lettuce tomato and triple mayonnaise :( so bummed out. 0/10
Great place in Kenosha for Mediterranean food. Also included are a number of comfort food offerings and dessert items. Huge portions. Over time, I have tried most of the items on their menu. Except for their chicken gyro, everything has been wonderful, flavorful and satisfying. Chicken gyro is an exception. Neither the looks nor the taste of it was pleasing. With the exception as noted, I find myself enjoying what they have. If it matters, they serve all halal meats. Excellent for eat in or take out service. Very helpful and friendly staff, ready to assist and accommodate. BTW, they have a display of hukkahs that are available for sale.
Ordered for eating in, but it took almost 30m to get our food. The place itself is quite cold inside. The gyro was tasty, the gyro fries don't quite work together. Reuben was alright but could have used more meat and the sauerkraut wasn't my favorite. The staff was pretty nice when they were actually up front seeing as most of the time they were in the kitchen. Perhaps i just caught them during a rush.
