The ambience is nice and calming. The staff is very friendly and polite. The desserts look really good. The lavender cake tastes really good, so does the Nutella cookie. All in all the experience is enjoyable.

Was invited to try Gustav in Hamra. Went their with other foodies. Great welcoming and nice live show chocolate cooking. The pastry chef is friendly and helpful. They have explain us the history of Gustav and their newly items. The pastry looks so good and all item are tempting. we have tried many things. the cookies topped with chocolate were amazing. They were my favorite. You can find many chocolate pops with different flavors, also they have blue velvet and lavender cake. it was good and normal.

I had the most enjoyable experience visiting Gustav; staff is very welcoming, and Loubna, the lovely owner, is dedicated in maintaining all the premium ingredients in the delicious pastries. The apple crumble paired with the rich vanilla ice cream is a must. I have not tasted any vanilla ice cream like the one Gustav offers. The place is incredible and illustrates new and exciting items to try. It will brighten anyone’s day, please go and have what your heart- and stomach- desire☕️🍰🍨🍦🍪 . Until next time!

In love with this place. Nutella ice cream and the red velvet (ball) are a must try. High prices but great quality of desserts. You should try this place with family/friends. Unforgettable experience and a YUMMY PLACE. If you haven’t try gustav you’re missing a lot!

Let me tell you my worst experience with Gustav
I bought this one as it was a honey cake, I started eating it and I discovered that the layers don’t look like honey cake at all!!! I tried just one bite then I returned it back from my mouth and i went to the bathroom and i vomited because of the heavy milk taste!!!!!!! It was horrible!!! It is not a honey cake at alllllllllll it is a milk cake. Google is full of Honey cake recipes go and check them and check how the honey cake layers look as well!

I had a wonderful experience here! I tried a chocolate chip cookie with m&m's as well as a strawberry cheesecake. It's to die for! Also, David is pleasant & helped my friend and me with our selection. 😊

Good sweet place and nice staff but I didn't like the biscuits in the cake, it was too hard and not crunchy

Delicious and unique desserts are prepared at Gustav. I like their blue velvet cake and their tarts. They often innovate with new creations. Today I tried the "raspberry pistachio log". It was good but I would have preferred to have a taste of raspberry (and not just the raspberry decoration on top of it).

Gustav is famous for his bomb chocolate balls in different flavors . Aside his fluffy red velvet cake , his flakky tarts topped with fresh strawberries , the chocolate filled eclair and its other choux covered with chocolate speciality, taste is there but be prepared to pay a high bill for only 5 pieces . Worth it to be consumed with moderation :)
