Loved it, I wanna go back when I'm in the area again. I tried the happy hour menu cheese dip with pork skins, buffalo shrimp, and a dinner salad that was on the regular menu, oh and a margarita 🍹 😋 got my honey a stuffed flounder to go so I didn't have to make him dinner. I orders to go, asked for Stuffed Shrimp because it’s lent and Friday, they gave me the shrimp en brochette that has bacon on it. Please have your hostess look over the menu so they know what they’re supposed to be charging people for. This took 20 minutes out of my lunch break and now I can only eat the fries because I don’t have time to wait for another meal. We love this place. My daughter LOVES the corn dog and fries. As well as the butter cake. And we OF COURSE love the crawfish. We go every year multiple times a year. They are family oriented, they have high chairs, they have a bar, you can watch sports. It’s great! This place is very well managed. The wait staff are excellent and it shows with their leadership. The food is always amazing. Crawfish prices are a little over the top along with their boiled shrimp prices. But Guidry's has the absolute best tasting shrimp and crawfish around. They also have a delicious drink menu. On the first visit, the rice was either under or over cooked. The gumbo was fair. It would have, I think, been great if it had been cooked longer, not that anything was raw. The Catfish Bites were excellent. In fact, they were so great I came back 2.5 hours later and got another order. I am looking forward to my next visit and will be trying the gumbo again. The service here was friendly and attentive. Had no issues, even with coming in for a quick bite to eat. Super fresh oysters,had a dozen on the half shell, really nice, nothing beats a Texas coast oyster. The fried catfish was really nice, with a lite corn meal breading, and the fried oysters were really good. The seafood gumbo was flavorful but needed a little kick for my tastes, Louisiana hot sauce took care of that. Definitely a place I'd return to. Our family has been wanting to visit Guidry’s for quite some time now, and we finally got the opportunity to last night. Right as we walked through the door we were greeted by friendly staff members and seated right away. It was a Wednesday night, and it was still pretty busy. Our server was very attentive all night and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered 4 pounds of crawfish to start (1X heat level), my wife ordered the stuffed shrimp, and my daughter ordered a burger with fries. I was happy to see they had Dos Equis on draft, and our waitress was asking if I needed another well before it was ever empty. The food came out in a timely manner, and we weren’t disappointed. The crawfish were spicy, and the flavor was inside the meat. They were a little big, but this time of year that’s just how it is. My wife’s shrimp were tasty, they could have used a little acidity, but overall, a good meal. My daughters burger was downright delicious, I tried a bite, and you could tell they seasoned the meat just right. Fries were on point, seasoned and great flavor. Amazing place to get cajun crawfish, highly recommended!! We were here in 2019 and came back recently for more. We got 3 pounds of crawfish per person. The fried alligator and stuffed mushrooms were good too! We ordered a few portions to share. Great place. Food was excellent. Alligator bites were some of the best I've ever had. Tender, flakey, and hot. Only downside I had is that their fries weren't as freshly fried and the bread pudding was obviously reheated. But the shrimp, gumbo, catfish, and alligator bites were awesome. Nice atmosphere too. My favorite crawfish/seafood place ever!!!! You can tell they really care about their food and their service. The food is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. The people are amazing. The staff, the patrons, you really feel welcome here! Kinda like a cheers type place, where everyone knows your name. I absolutely love coming here and will continue to do so. I’m so glad we started coming!!!
