Out of the almost 100 reviews on Google, I’ve only written 1 bad one.
I’m super disappointed because I wanted to love this salon since it’s close to my house. My cut was perfectly done too!! However, I told her I wanted to go back to my natural shade/hair color. She said she recommended I go a little darker so I don’t come back within a week asking for a toner. I agreed because, what do I know about hair! Well, I left with it almost black (my natural shade is a medium to dark brown). I thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt and give it a week to grow on me or fade. I used hot water and clarifying shampoo every single day. A week later, it’s still EXTREMELY dark.
I tried to call to see if they would fix it for me but they said it’s outside of their policy for fixing something. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if I had known I had 2-4 days to make a complaint. I would’ve called sooner. I told them it would’ve been nice if my stylist told me that upfront in person since she knew she went darker than I wanted.
They offered to do a treatment that could potentially lighten it a bit but it would cost me another $100 after the $400 I spent on the initial appointment…. I just said to cancel my future appointments.
I’m not angry I’m just extremely sad because she didn’t tell me I had to live with this color for 6 months apparently??? she said it would fade in a FEW WEEKS. I’m going to have to either live with it or get it done by another salon. I’m so disappointed

Highly recommend Julia at Grow Salon! She did a wonderful job on my highlights and she is a wonderful human! She made a lot of recommendations and gave me several care tips and tricks throughout the process which was very much appreciated. Best my hair has ever looked and felt!!

I adore this salon! Since its opening, I've been a loyal guest, and the entire staff consistently exceeds expectations. Whether it's the welcoming Guest Happiness Team at the front desk or any Stylist I've encountered, my experiences have been consistently fantastic. Emily has cultivated a wonderful environment for everyone, and I have complete trust in her team with my hair. Additionally, their bar offerings, ranging from seasonal cocktails to non-alcoholic beverages, and the WINE (my favorite) always leave me satisfied.

Grow Salon and Wine Bar is everything you could ask for - and more. Entering the salon doors, you’re greeted with friendly smiles, timely service, a beautifully-appointed and generously-sized waiting area, and of course plenty of wine options! The waiting area also has coffee and water options. Although I have not tried the wine, they also have these AMAZING non-alcoholic elixirs. I was curious about the elixirs, so they gave me a couple of samples. The elixirs are super delicious and the one I had was invigorating after a long day.
Now to the hair service itself! The salon uses Oribe products, and if you’ve never been treated with these incredible products you’re missing out. There is no hard press to buy products, which I really appreciate. The stylists all seem very happy to be there, and it seems there is minimal turnover. My stylist, Katrina, is experienced, talented, positive, and does a consistently superb job on my short and wavy hair. She always takes her time to talk with me about my hair and what I want from the cut and style. I have been her client at Grow for nearly two years, and I’ve got no plans to go anywhere else!
The leadership and staff at Grow Salon and Wine Bar operates with a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellent service in all areas. Get there as fast as you can!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Julia Weiss!! Received a blunt short hair cut w/ balayage. My request is to give my hair some dimension and to give it a more full look and she knocked it out of the park. Best cut and color. 😊 thank you, Julia! I’ve definitely found my life long hair stylist!

My experience at Grow was nothing short of amazing! -had a consultation with Emily, who the most awesome front desk person set up seamlessly. The consult was short and sweet and I felt completely comfortable about having extensions put in, which I had never done before.
The appointment was excellent! Emily was so welcoming to their fabulous (super clean and trendy) salon. She is so unbelievably skilled and knowledgeable and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Thank you so much!! ❤️
—love love love my new hair and this salon!! I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a stylist/look…such a gem in Georgetown!! Super grateful ☺️

Anna Watson is truly amazing and has brought new life to my hair and my confidence. From my very first appointment 6 months ago to now Anna always listens to what I am wanting and also has ideas and suggestions ready.
I wanted on cover up my gray hairs, but I was very nervous about how that would look with my natural red hair. Anna has gone above and beyond of what I thought was possible for my hair and I am so grateful for finding her and Grow Salon.
I am always looking forward to my next appointment with Anna because of how great my hair looks, but also because I can tell Anna really cares.
The salon is so cute and parking is easy. I am always amazed by all of the beautiful plants and how kind everyone is.

I always look forward to getting my hair done because of how welcoming, kind, and talented my hair stylist, Kat, is. She’s incredible knowledgeable and is so helpful when explaining products, tips, and techniques. The receptionists are always kind when they greet me, too. The salon itself is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Love love love this place I’m so glad I found it.

Can't recommend Julia at Grow Salon enough! She's personable, attentive, and great at what she does. She gave me the exact blonde I was looking for and I had so many compliments on my color after seeing her!

Clarissa is absolutely amazing! This was my second appointment with her, first was cut and this time was color. I, as I’m sure a lot of people out there, was worried about finding a new salon and stylist due to prior experiences. I felt so welcome the second that I showed up. Clarissa is a wonderful and sweet stylist and woman. I look forward to this hair journey with her at this salon! Thank you!
