A couple of things up front, one, (which I'm sure would have been fixed had we asked, so I can't blame the restaurant, but we were starving and didn't want to wait anymore) the over easy eggs were over hard and cold, the side of sausage was cold, and the poached eggs were over hard as well. Two, the price of sides is so not worth it, $5 for two sausage links? $7.25 for a side of cheesy fries?
The rest of the food, though pricey--but for Stowe, probably about normal--was good. Pancakes were huge and thick, eggs bene (besides the above) was good, there was definitely an eclectic blend of old dishes with new twists, which is always fun, and coffee was hot.
I probably wouldn't go again for a sit down meal as we paid $87 for four people, which any way you cut it, is a lot for breakfast, especially considering the first two points.
The cashier was friendly, the place seemed pretty busy, especially for takeout, so maybe our experience was a one off, and you experience may be better.

Athena catered the food for our rustic wedding and we were blown away. We were looking for a fresh spread with something for everyone. We received an abundance of delicious gyros, lemon potatoes, lasagna, salad, wraps, dessert platters, and fresh strawberries galore! Everything was fantastic, it was the perfect match for our State Park wedding on the shore of Lake Elmore. We had tons of leftovers; we were so sad when they were gone. So glad I found Green Goddess Cafe. Absolutely top notch.

Friday night is for the Green Goddess Buffett dinner. Mexican is a W, Indian is a W, Italian is a W. Tim knocks the soups out of the park and Athena’s desserts are like Grandma’s used to be. You must try this weekend offering. Fresh and Yummy!
