I love this iconic place on the Oregon coast. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're visiting Depoe Bay or traveling through. The atmosphere, especially on the bar side is very welcoming and pretty old school. They usually have a fireplace going which is very nice in the winter months. Be aware of the bloody Marys because they use beef broth in their bloody Marys. Not everybody likes beef and their drinks. I ordered the fresh caught salmon, fish and chips and it was great. I would have enjoyed some coleslaw to cut down on the greasy fat from the rich salmon and having it deep fried. The fries were okay. Be aware their chowder has pork in it. The ocean is right across the street and it's a must to stare at the ocean for some time. Looking for whales or just watching the waves. It's an amazing place on the Oregon coast in general. Wow, we really enjoyed the food here. The clam chowder really was as good as advertised. The deep fried Seafood Combination was outstanding! It even came with shrimp cocktail, which was a very pleasant surprise. Will definitely eat here again Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Gracie's Sea Hag Famous Clam Chowder

Ordered clam chowder and the Alaskan Cod. I love the rich and creamy texture of the clam chowder. It's a comforting and hearty soup that's perfect for a chilly day. Alakan Cod fish is fresh. I like the crispy batter and those well-cooked fries. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Gracie's Sea Hag Famous Clam Chowder

I stopped in late Saturday night for some fantastic clam chowder and for what I expected would be exceptional seafood fettuccine. The chowder was everything I expected. The service was outstanding and my food arrived fast and hot. Unfortunately my fettuccine was disappointing. The flavor was good and pasta was perfect but the Alfredo was broken. Thin runny cream and a big ball of chewy cheese in the center. It was late, I was hungry and I’m not one for complaining so I ate some and took the rest home. Surely this was just an off night, but quality control from the kitchen is critical! Thanks for reading. I look forward to a better meal next time. Who wouldn't want to eat at the Sea Hag!? Food was quite tasty but pricey. I had Parmesan crusted halibut and my husband had coconut prawns. Their clam chowder had a great flavor, and I'm not even a big clam chowder person. Service was on the slow side, but we were not in a hurry. Fun kitschy atmosphere. Best thing, they serve Coke in a town full of Pepsi! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Gracie's Sea Hag Famous Clam Chowder

I don’t usually complain but the service at this place was terrible. We waited a while just to get coffee. I received a cold waffle not even warm enough to melt whipped butter. Husband ordered bacon that we had to remind the waitress 2 times and didn’t receive it until the end. Sorry Sea Hag but we won’t be going back. Bought the stuffed Chinook salmon and the sautéed Neptune platter. Stuffed Chinook was well seasoned but over cooked, fries were great, but didn't even fill half the plate. The sautéed platter was the real disappointment, vegetables were bland and tasteless, seafood was very overcooked, and it was boiled not sautéed, bland and tough, served in a Grey white foul smelling liquid, the seafood didn't taste fresh and I have no other way of describing it. The staff was attentive and the service was good, not a front of house issue. All of this could be forgiven if the bill wasn't 60$ for two people to have lunch without drinks or desserts. Really nice rustic seafood restaurant. Friendly service on a busy summer Saturday afternoon. I sat in the bar/lounge which was a much nicer environment than the crowded and loud dining area. I got the clam chowder in a bread bowl and the stuffed mushrooms. The stuffed mushrooms were INCREDIBLE if you’re even thinking about getting them, do it. They’re pretty rich thought. The clam chowder was delicious!! Not too thick, couldve used a little more salt but that’s just me. The bread bowl turns all bread-pudding-y and delicious. I also got the Marion berry lemonade which wasn’t great but I’m also just a lemonade connoisseur so take that as you will. Overall I’ll definitely be back!? Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

What a neat place. We were just passing through and saw it was open. We split the Sea Hag Benedict which was plenty. I can honestly say it was the best Benedict I have ever had. All the plates I saw pass by looked just as appetizing. So then I google and see they are rated as ine of the best clam chowders on the Oregon Coast. It is a very clean and decorated in art and photo's from the local town. Charming. I would definitely seek this place out if I pass through again. And props to Brittany our server who was super nice and accommodating. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sea Hag Benedict
