The food is absolutely amazing and the portions are big. Amazing atmosphere. The owner walks around checking up on the customers to make sure everyone are happy. I have never seen such a personal attention in a restaurant before. 10/10 recommended and i will definitely be back. Thank you for everything. Have been coming to this diner since I was small. Not sure if it is under new management or not. Not too busy when I arrived. I ordered the French toast delight with my eggs fried hard. When my food arrived eggs were runny, my bacon was missing and my French toast was covered in cinnamon instead of powdered sugar. The waitress didn’t notice when she dropped off my plate so I asked a gentleman if he could obtain some powdered sugar for me and bring the missing bacon. Went for brunch yesterday. It was insanely busy, but they made it fun waiting in line, giving our toddlers colors and paper and allowing them to dance. Owner and staff were extremely apologetic for the wait and kept checking in on everyone waiting and giving updates. Although constantly running around (they work fast and aim to please), they were all gracious, patient, and with a huge smile on their face. Our daughters LOVED the chocolate chip pancakes and fruit. HUGE portions, both myself and husband couldn't finish our meals. Such a warm and inviting diner, felt like I was visiting with an uncle. Highly recommended. Fabulous experience. Absolutely obsessed with this place! My family and I are huge on trying out local spots, and this has hands down become our favorite diner in the area. I’m writing this review after five straight days of eating here, and I think tomorrow will be the sixth. I cannot say enough good things about the new ownership - the staff are so attentive and sweet. A special shoutout to Peter who truly has made me feel like family even after just my first time meeting him. As for the food, everything we’ve had so far has been absolutely delicious. I think they have the best pancakes in Huntington by far, the chicken salad was absolutely incredible, they know how to make a mean grilled cheese, the gyro meat is so delicious and the CAKES! The cakes are so moist and yummy. And I’m sure this list will grow as we make our way through their menu lol. So good!
