The price has gone down but so has the quality. I don't know what the cause is. Staff was great. Many of the foods were poorly prepared. Soupy mac and cheese and bread pudding. Looked like some children were playing in the pies. A bit disappointing, we will probably give it another try hoping to update this review. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

It being the first Friday of lent, we decided to go to Golden Corral. Best decision we made. We ate the fried catfish and popcorn shrimp. Assorted veggies and Mashed potatoes. My wife ate the spinach, which she enjoyed very much. The person in charge of our area was excellent. We even had room for dessert. It's usually okay but Sunday evening was not good at all. Salad seemed old, ranch dressing tasted rancid. They were out of several food items. The steak was ordered medium rare. It was served well done and tough as shoe leather. We will still come back but Sunday was just an awful experience. They were having a really bad day I guess. As always, we were treated like family by the staff, and the food was good as usual, well prepared and fresh. The selection was adequate, I wouldn't mind a few new choices here and there, but overall my family had a very nice dinner. The best part is always the special attention from Yumi on the grill, expertly preparing steaks for us and bringing them to our table, she's outstanding and has always exceeds expectations on her customer service! OK so I always wait until I visit a place a few times to give an accurate review. I don't think 1 time is enough to speak to how a place was in my opinion because you can have a great experience or a horrible one. Either way I absolutely love this location! First off, the service of the waitresses and waiters is off the charts amazing! They are absolutely kind and make sure you have what you need at all times! Second, the food. When people think of a buffet place you typically think the food is just mass produced with no love. In this case every single thing is made with love! It is absolutely delicious. I have tried just about every single item here with the many times I've visited with my family and every single time it's AMAZING! The fresh sliced meat is to die for and everything else is delicious as well!! The pot roast is incredible along with the fried chicken and Asian selection! This is a must visit location!! I can't speak for all other locations but this one is amazing!!! Oh and the brisket and shredded pork is phenomenal!!!! Add their very yummy BBQ sauce over the top! You won't regret it!! Fresh food and fantastic overhead music playing. It really was all very good food. I found nothing bad here, everything tasted great. I loved watching them cut and prepare the food behind the buffet line. Most restaurants don't let you see all the food prep area you know. Surprisingly great quality of food and freshness! Food rotated often and correctly ( new on bottom, excess on top, clean pans used) very clean and bus/ waiter persons attentive and active. Golden Corral is one of our family's go to restaurants. Its a buffet style restaurant so it makes everyone happy. Prices are fare, smaller children eat for less and they also cater to seniors.The staff is friendly and courteous and know how to take care of their customers. We have never had to wait and always gotten a table right away. The food is very good and they have a large assortment of dishes to choose from. Try one or try them all but save room for dessert. Cakes, pies, puddings, ice cream, cookies they have it all. Wow! Im getting hungry just thinking about it. Try Golden Corral for any meal. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
