The overall experience at Golden Corral earns a 2.5-star rating. While the staff provided excellent service, consistently maintaining a friendly and accommodating attitude, the dining experience was far from great. Despite the expansive salon, the buffet often featured empty food options, notably the pizza and broccoli cheddar soup stations. Additionally, the chicken lacked flavor, while the steak was deemed decent. Improvement in food availability and taste consistency could greatly enhance the dining experience at Golden Corral Canovanas. Just had breakfast at Golden Corral it's the worst place for breakfast. The bacon tastes like oil no bacon flavor at all , tater tots we're mushy, lots of biscuits but no gravy, cold sausage, dried up cold chicken, breakfast pizza cold as ice. The line cook could only cook one order at a time even though she had three skillets. The best part was the coffee and the server who was very helpful. There was plenty of sweets but that's not what I came for. It felt like they opened the food packages and dumped it in buffet. They definitely need more training on food preparation. My fiance and I are on vacation in PR, so we decide to go to eat there. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. The waitress was very good, attentive and polite. The problem WAS THE FOOD. THE FOOD WAS COLD. On a Monday night; don’t know what to eat? been hungrier all day? Then visit Golden Corral in Canóvanas. Visit for the first time suggested by my youngest son and honestly I was impressed! The service ( although is a monday night),the stations of food was clean, spacious and separate make it easy to walk thru. The food was very good and the desert station very good. The price for they offer it’s reasonable (aprox $22 per person). I was so hungry that forget to take pictures until the end. But it’s a fine alternative insted of Sizzler’s.
