Man this place is the old DMV was before online services. Manager Chad here is atrocious. Customer service at the register is no where near able to handle the apparent demand and the manager Chad demonstrates the Customer service skills of a 4 year-old that didn't get to push the elevator button. As a note after the fact, there were a couple wait service folks, Paul for example (ask for his area for sure) that were really good. But again Chad the manager out front demonstrated a reenactment of monkey violating a football. The food is ok to decent but the overall experience gives golden corral a bad name. We were a bit disappointed with our latest experience at Golden Corral. We don't expect top quality, but better than we had. Terrifying. The people that go here make the place a people watching nightmare. I witnessed things I couldn't unsee. Someone should hire security to throw out the trailer trash that couldn't be bothered to wear a belt. Nobody should have had to see that, and nobody was stopping him from touching everything while holding his pants up with one hand. Indecent exposure, to say the least. Or the unruly children or the giants piling mounds onto their plates.I wish this was a nice place to come, but unfortunately, there were too many gross patrons for me to stomach. As with all Golden Corral Buffet restaurants, the expectation of food variety never fails to please. There is a robust salad bar with tuna, ham, and turkey. There is both a southern flair to the entrées as well as Mexican. Depending on the day or time, steaks. Their desserts are sure to please. This particular store offers senior and military discounts. I left so full I needed to carried out. Very busy, but a nice atmosphere. Steak ,meatloaf, fish fied and baked, tacos, italian, fresh greens for salad bar. All the side dishes. Pies, cobblers. Cakes and soft serve vanilla and chocolate this place had it all. Surprisingly good service gives this place an extra star. The cashiers were typical, disaffected retail types, but servers were really great. Food was really low quality. A bit better than school cafeteria, but not even worth pictures. Salad bar was OK. Not too pricey by today’s standard, but for nearly $50 before tip for me, my teen, and my 9-year old, I wish the fryer oil was not so old, the cheese a bit higher quality, the meat a bit higher grade, the salad a bit fresher, etc. It was OK, but outside the novelty of a buffet for the kids, not really a repeat for me.
