I order Doordash from here almost every morning because I only eat halal and I live in Westland. Everytime I order I never receive any plastic ware it’s pretty crazy a customer spending $30 everyday and not getting utensils. Probably won’t order again.

More expensive then every bakery in the area... served me old cheese pie literally pulled it off the shelf reheated it didnt even melt the cheese and charged me the same price as a meat pie. Save your money and get better food somewhere else where they appreciate your money.

I love all the food here but everytime i get the taboola salad its very old, the parsley and all veggies are wrinkly. They changed to putting the dressing on the side which was a good choice but the dressing wasnt the same and it was nasty to be honest last time i got it. I recommend anything but the taboola.

I come here because the bread is or was the best fluffy fresh and tastes great! But recently visiting the heights location couple times im very disappointed. Got day old cheese and meat pies. I mean come on guys. If you don’t know your customers personally you give them the day old stuff. Last and final time coming here.

The cheese, zartar, and meat pies were good however the meat pies have been downgraded. When I was a kid it was much better. The hummus was not that great. Go to Al Ameers for a good example of how hummus is supposed to taste. I had to add tahini to get it edible.
Amazing there service is the best I’ve seen there food is the best in Dearborn heights I’ve been coming here 3 days a week and I always get what I want never gotten a wrong order I recommend coming here.

We tried them and the Kibbeh and Garlic sauce were really good but hummus and tabuli were horrible. I’m half middle eastern and have eaten this food my entire life so one bite of the tabuli and we could tell it wasn’t right. The hummus was even worse.
They also had their door propped open and that is against health codes. I would buy their garlic sauce again. It was really good.
Golden Bakery is always busy, so just get out of the way if you need more time to look in the showcases, and let the more experienced buyers go ahead of you.
If you have never been to Golden bakery, start by getting some REAL "string cheese" (not the slime in a plastic tube). It's called Twist Cheese, and it contains Caraway seeds. Check my pictures for the correct one to get. It's refrigerated.
Next you want a bottle of Ayran , often labeled "yogurt drink". You need to serve this very cold. Never drink it slightly chilled. You have been warned.
