This restaurant has a traditional and home cooking like Teo Chew flavour like my grandma’s cooking.
Prawn rolls and curry steamed fish were two of our favourite dish among others. Prawn roll was fried until crispy and the prawn paste inside was fresh and tasty. Curry steamed fish tasted more like nyonya flavour, it was sour and spicy, and the curry paste was definitely a “rice-killer”.
However, the portion of the food was really small, and definitely not enough for our table of six.

Food taste so so only and it came in a small portion. In addition it was way too pricey, we ordered assam prawn 8 pieces and costed rm 64. It was ridiculous to charge rm 8 for a prawn,mind you it was not the big/ tiger prawn type. There was lots of flies in the restaurant which raised concern on the hygiene of the restaurants. Their menu was very limited I think just around 10 dishes to order from only..will definitely not visit again.

This is not the branch of the famous Goh Swee Kee Restaurant at Georgetown, just similar name.

We had curry fish, braised pork trotter , tau foo and fried oyster egg.
The curry fish was great..tumis style..
Pork trotter was soft and tender.
