Placed my order at 5:22pm on 1/1/24 for $48.05 and was told to pull forward and park for "7" minutes for chicken strips...after 10 min. I went in the place only to find a woman with 10 or so boxes on the counter putting together meals I guess, piece by piece Instead of bringing us our food because it was ready....idk, but I was told strips were done and she was making our order.....I told her " looks like you're making everyones order" and walked out not happy. Finally 10 more min. later they finally brought my COLD livers and rest at 5:42pm. Worse customer skills ever tonight, not even offered a free water for our wait....then get our so called "freshly cooked" strips, some strips looked fresh, some were not..(see photo).....sadder than that, was there was already a truck parked next to us they were there the whole time we were in line to order, still waiting for their order....they got their food when we did. 25-30 minutes wait time for them, geesh....they also were from Missouri......but It will be awhile before I drive back to Kansas from Missouri to order "Go Chicken Go". This is one of the first places I go to as soon as I get to Kansas. This was always a childhood favorite. They have the best gizzards ever! And I always buy extra sauce to bring back to Pennsylvania. Absolutely the Bomb! One of the best locations around! Food is fantastic, service is always courteous and quick, and though you might have to wait in line a little bit, just know there is a reason for that and it's totally worth it! Love this place! Especially that the chicken isn't from some hormone pumped animal and as far as I know is some of the best you can find! A WYCO staple! GO CHICKEN GO has always had GREAT fried chicken. No it's not like alot of places but hey if you need a quick bite to eat it's a great place to get your chicken fix.
