NOT WORTH THE PRICE OR WAIT TIME! After reading many of the reviews from the restaurant, I was excited to come in for a good bite. To my disappointment, this was not what I expected from a 4 star restaurant. When I first called in to place my order, the phoneline was busy for 5 minutes and they wouldn't answer before I had called them 3 times with 2 minute intervals when the line wasn't busy anymore. I assumed they had a lot of traffic with their orders so I didn't think much of it. They answered and I placed my order. They said it would take 45 minutes for it to be ready for pickup. I was incredibly hungry and was excited for the food, even though it would take longer than usual to be prepared. I took the 45 minutes to explore the Kongsvinger Fortress which made the time pass by quite quickly. And after 50 minutes, I was there to pick up my food. But when I arrived and payed for the order, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes before the food was finally ready to take with me. This was a bit upsetting, but from the previous reviews, I prayed that the food would be as good as people said it was. When me and my family brought it to a riverside table not far away, we took the food out and it looked quite good. But as we started eating, we realized that the looks were deceiving. We ordered a combo-salmon and the veggie tofu maki, both had incredibly sticky and chewy rice, way more than it should be. The salmon nigiri was completely dry, and together with the hard rice, this was unappetizing. The vegan tofu was rock hard and the maki was 90% crispy salad. The tempura maki had incredibly thick rice, leaving no room for the actual insides, but as well as this the sauce on top tasted exactly like "remulade", something that was very offputting when eating maki. The best thing about the food was the sashimi, which was just plain salmon. I regret to say that this was NOT worth the price or wait time. Will not be coming here again and I suggest other people go elsewhere.

These guys consistently make great food. Me and my girlfriend always resort to sushi from these guys. Keep up the good work :)

Ok sushi. But cvality differs.. Nice straff. Nice place to sitt down. Brown and darkish furniture.

Takes a loooong time until you get your food, order a pizza instead, time is more valuable than the food you get here.

fikk servert rå sushi. da jeg dro til legen dagen etterpå sa han at jeg hadde fått salmonela. og det skjønner jeg ikke fordi jeg fikk ørret. syntes dette passer dårlig da jeg sitter i rullestoll og sliter med å tømme tanken. som betyr at jeg trenger hjelp av mine støttekontakter som kan løfte meg på toaletten. og holde meg oppreist mens jeg presser kubikk Service Take out Meal type Brunch Price per person kr 200–300 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes Vårruller

Har hvert på glommen sushi 2 ganger i sommer, bestilte stekte nudler med kylling. første gangen var noe av maten lunken og resten kjøleskapskald. Sier i fra og dem påstår maten akuratt er woket, skulle få gratis mat neste gang og måtte love å gi beskjed med en gang. Dro tilbake for å benytte meg av maten jeg hadde til gode. All maten var lunken, fikk også min mor til å bekrefte at det stemte. Fikk kontakt med betjeningen og ga beskjed, fikk beskjed om at maten var varm og at den var woket samtidig med maten til min mor og søster. Sa at det var rart, når dem fikk varm mat og jeg fikk lunken mat. Hun damen kunne woke det en gang til. Det skal ikke være nødvendig å presisere at man ønsker varm mat. Jeg blir nok ikke å kjøpe mat hos glommen sushi igjen. Er jeg med noen stikker jeg heller innom cirkel k å kjøper pølse på tur hjem.
