I have been going to Glenwood Oaks since I was an infant. What they have done to this place is nothing less than a crime. Glenwood Oaks was once one of the few jewels of the south side. It had wonderful food with great prime rib and seafood. It was elegant and sophisticated. Beautiful seasonal décor, classy bunch, it was the perfect upscale establishment. Now it looks like a ghetto strip club and a low rent casino had a child who isn't sure if it's wedding venue or an automotive shop. I've driven my car into classier places for oil changes. I have included two photos. They are of the SAME ROOM, at very similar camera angles, one from many years ago and one from recently. Yes, there is literally a wall of the dining room made from garage doors. Who ever did this to this place makes me wish it was sill legal for mobs to tar and feather people.
