Disappointed because ALL of my meat is HARD. Cons: 1. Okra Soup - taste is there, but could use more flavor. Beef HARD. 2. Cassava Soup - Flavor is good - cow skin is soft - cassava just a little too liquidy for my perspective. Beef HARD. 3. Beef Stew or chunks? - This was probably the best out of all. Taste and red pasta soup was delicious. Beef HARD. 4. Meat pies - disgusting and dough taste like nothing. Meat DRY. 5. Fufu - not fully mashed - upon eating I found some hard and dry chunks. I wanted 3 other dishes, BUT they did not have. 1. Gizdodo 2. Fried stick Gizzard 3. Goat Meat PRO's: * Speed for food was quick * Cashier was nice. * Place is very clean. * Advertisement photos of food 100% * Price is fair. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

They give you the option of meat so that they can load the container full of meat and then pour the VERY minimum amount of soup ON TOP!!!! the first time I thought maybe I was trippin so I made the mistake of going back! GREAT experience, and such good food! Everyone there was so kind -- both the employees and the patrons -- and we felt welcome and appreciated. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend the beans and plantains, if you like spicy food; otherwise, the jollof rice with beef was very tasty! Definitely stop in if you're in the area! The food was really delicious. The presentation could have been better, and the seating area could be a bit cleaner. The pepper soup was the best I ever had from restaurants. The peppered snail was delicious. The egg roll was unique and definitely memorable. My meat pie was not fresh. The presentation of the food stand could be kept better. And the customer service was nothing to remember. With the food taste and a deep clean. I believe this could be one of Minnesota best African restaurants. I will definitely review and review again. FOOD POISONING DO NOT BUY THE RED STEW!!! Me and a friend of mine order the Red Stew last weekend and we both ended up with Food Poisoning that lasted several days at first I thought maybe it’s just a coincidence but I have another friend who said that they also got food poisoning from the same RED STEW!!!, BEWARE do not order the RED STEW at this restaurant you WILL get food POISONING !!!! Good food, ive been here multiple times my favs are egusi and pounded yam and the jollof rice with fried fish. Dont bother telling them you dont want certain meats. I got a bowl full of tripe and I specifically said no thank you.

They make delicious plates and are always really nice. I am only giving 3 starts because they have giving me wrong orders the last 2 times. This last time I ordered Egusi with fish only fufu and when I got home, I was giving Cassava Leaf and everything was cow skin and nothing else and I don’t eat that. They were not busy, so I think paying extra careful attention to orders is a must. Service Take out Price per person $10–20
