Absolutely mouth-watering food! We have dined here several times throughout our vacation in Sagres and tried different kinds of beef steaks and seafood - everything was delicious. Plus you get pretty helpful and kind staff. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We ate some sort of fish stew. Fish is not fresh and smells like ammonia, hope we don’t get food poisoning. Reported to the waiter, but nothing was done about it. Never eating here again for us. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €25–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
We had a quick lunch here, because we didn’t had a lot of time. We ordered grilled squid and the pasta with seafood. The food was lovely, fresh and really tasty. The only downside was that it was a bit overpriced in comparison to the rest of Sagres. But tasty and fresh food. Would recommend!!!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–15

We were looking on google maps for a Portugese restaurant during our stay in Sagres in June 2021… This one is not bad but it’s not a “high flyer”. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is not so special and price/quality wise maybe a bit overpriced… the cod was too dry and possibly not fresh. The interior is very basic.
An overpriced kind of tourist trap. The service was good. We had several dishes, all of them were absolutely bland in terms of classic Portuguese cuisine. Fried shrimps were obviously either not fresh or wrongly stored - it was impossible to peel them. Clam & shrimp spaghetti had 3 shrimps and 6 clams. My octopus salad was not tempered at all, it was obviously freshly cut, so onion was horribly sharp, while normally all ingredients should be well blended and infused with each other. I didn’t order clams I originally wanted, at 16€ I can eat them in a fancy restaurant. I’d avoid this place and look for a more reasonable and authentic place elsewhere after visiting Sagres. Absolutely brilliant! Exactly what our foodie trip through Portugal needed on the Algarve leg. Authentic, delicious and with lovable service. We wanted something that didn't involve fries and we found it - the fish stew in traditional style. Think a paella, minus the rice and with large chunks of fish and king prawns. Lip smacking good. Highly recommend the traditional, homemade desserts (we had the house pudding and the carob tart). The tart has us trying to figure out the recipe to recreate it. It's that good.
Very good place and very good service. The food was good and the price good for what we taken. Soup, sardinhas and burgers and water for 25€. The service was fast. I recommend to reserve a table if you plan to come Friday or Saturday, otherwise you may wait in line. Recommended!

Greeted by a waitress that made every effort to make us feel unwelcome. Not even a hint of a smile. Hurried into choosing our food ( arrived 7.45pm) Constantly looked over by staff in an attempt to hurry us up. After the meal I spoke with the (manager) about our experience. He pretty much shrugged his shoulders and told me it had been a long tourist season and staff were tired. Told him I would prefer to complain now rather than on here and he said he wasn't bothered either way. Hence why I have wrote the above. It was very tasty and servers were nice. We had Cuban chicken with pineapple and a very tasty potato "laces" and flour breaded hake fish with rice.
