Gianni’s is the best! Food is fantastic. I go to the Palatine location. This time, I ordered catering for my Christmas Eve party. I got the Chicken Franchese… which was absolutely delicious! All my guests raved about how great it was! Given the restaurant was closed in Christmas Eve I picked up the day before and reheated it in the oven…so easy and it was perfection! I’ve eaten in the restaurant many times… food always exceptional, service fantastic and the best atmosphere! Love Gianni! We have been to Gianni's twice now. In both cases we have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service has been exceptional with engaged and positive servers. The food that we have tried has been excellent. One of our outings was with a party of 8 and one participant indicated the fish was overcooked. That's the only complaint. It is a little loud but not any more than most restaurants. In both cases we were seated immediately but we did have reservations. Be prepared to walk a block or so from your parking spot. Momma squirrel 🐿️ and I just stopped in for a first time visit and WOW, it was great 👍. Staff was great we didn't have reservations but was able to get a great seat by the window 😁. Or host Lori S was wonderful 👍, she made great recommendations. She's been working there 15 years and knows her business. The food was delicious 😋🤤. I ask myself why would anyone ever go to the fake Italia restaurant when you can go here. We hope to visit here offen and always with Lori S as our host.
