This restaurant has many wonderful things to enjoy for its size. First of all, the service is top tier. We really enjoyed their Spinach & Artichoke dip as the appetizer. They provide a lot of bread on the side that was fresh and yummy. Their main dishes are a good portion (not too much or too little). The food overall tastes fresh and delicious. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and they did not disappoint. A lovely slice of Tiramisu (Sooo Good) with a candle on top. We all sang happy birthday and it was a great time with good food and family. The pictures should be enough to clue you in. Just because there are overcooked soft noodles and red stuff on a plate...doesn't mean it's Italian. Flavors were way off, like when your Grandma used to be a great cook until she got too old and lost her sense of taste and didn't care anymore and just threw weird stuff together, but also had to stop using salt due to her blood pressure. On a positive note, none of our stomachs hurt later, so it's edible and convenient (if you're staying at the Airbnb across from the Crack house on B street) it's just not tasty. This place has potential, they just need to find their passion for cooking again. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
It makes me sad to say this but this place used to be so good! I always get the same thing and have never complained and the last 3 times I’ve gotten it it’s been pretty bad. I always get the siscillian sandwich and normally the bread is crispy which is good because of the vinaigrette that is put on it but lately it’s been such a soggy nasty mess and it makes me gag. And the homemade chips on the side were still parcially soft and not at all crunchy. Tasted like they were staged and not fresh 😔 also it’s horrible that I couldn’t get my son anything from the kids menu to go! We came in to take it home and I had to pay $20 for some pasta and meat sauce that literally tasted like what I make at home and it came with Texas toast. The noodles were definitely not home made, adult portion is tiny too. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I can't understand how a place like this has such a high rating, even in Grants Pass. Maybe I'm judging them harshly because they call themselves A Taste of Italy but haven't done anything beyond painting the colors of the Italian flag on their walls. Probably not. The food wasn't horrible, it was a little better than some random rest stop chain, but it definitely didn't satisfy me. I should have known when I walked in there at dinner time on a Thursday and they didn't have a single customer. I knew for sure when I saw that my $14 sandwich was the size of my hand. It didn't taste bad, but it was the tiniest sandwich I've bought from an Italian place. My friend's even-more-expensive pasta was the same size, like maybe 75 cents worth of noodles. The people in the establishment were nice and the food was ready on time, but I probably won't be going back. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Great customer service. Food was OK, highlights were the house Salad Dressing. Their coffee is not great, they used an instant powder for my decaf, not exciting, although it did come served with a cute cookie. Nice choices for creamers though. Nice offering of pasta dishes, including multiple choices for spaghetti sauces which I appreciated. Hubby had the Stromboli which he said was OK. Presentation lacked in that my plate was plastic as were the bread basket and the table cloth under the glass top. Oddly, my hubby got a regular ceramic plate. An unimpressive battery candle on the table lacked atmosphere. It was cold and drafty, ceiling fans were on. No masks were warn by any staff at any time. No disinfecting of the front counter between to go customers, we watched many come and go. Music playing were old standards which actually was one of the nicer aspects of the dining feel. You can find parking behind the restaurant as well as on street. Food was hot and tasty and they grated fresh parmesan cheese on our food as much as we desired. A nice touch were the bite size bread pieces with oil and balsamic and some nice spices. Spaghetti came with green beans on the side which were actually really fresh and nicely prepared. Cute little spot hidden off the main drag. Comfortable seating for two and great vibe. Chef/owner stopped at the table after to check on how the meal was, made friendly conversation and felt like we knew her forever! Will be back every time we're in town. Worst Italian food I’ve ever been served before. The lasagna was recommended, and it was watery slop. The noodles were not even lasagna noodles it was like beef and cheese and wet soggy noodles with burnt garlic bread. Gross. And somehow it was $20 a serving. Home cooked style italian food. Its a small bussiness not very busy at all but the food is delicious. Would recommend if your looking for that sort of thing. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo
The only reason I gave this restaurant one star is for the lovely server Tynaia, who was friendly, efficient and did an amazing job solely being the only server/hostess and busser all the while being hospitable to the restaurant full of people. The owner who was cooking served burnt garlic bread, green beans with stem still on them, the food was not fresh, as it tasted like very old, bland leftovers, sauce was too sweet, no flavor and food came out barely warm. When I asked for fresh bread that is normally served before the meal when dining in, to go along with our 3 overpriced meals to go order, she rudely denied, just said no. I asked if I could purchase it, she rudely snapped at the server, heavily sighing she exclaimed alright then if she wants it she can pay $4.75. I feel bad for the staff that has to work with her, and customers that have to deal with her behavior. She was mean, unkind and had a horrible attitude not only with her staff but to guests as well.
