We started off with the nachos. They were maybe a 3.8 ⭐️. I took a close up bc it was nachos with barely any cheese on them. The chips were great. We got the judges plate. All of the meats were tender with terrific flavor. I especially liked the the pulled pork and brisket. We got corn (waiter’s suggestion), and i was disappointed I went with that choice. It’s basically cream corn with rich flavor. The baked beans were okay. Gave 5 ⭐️ for the meat quality and flavor. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I absolutely love this place. This is maybe my 2nd or 3rd time coming here. I have yet to be disappointed. The brisket chili was pretty good. The burgers are plentiful and tasty, the mac and cheese could definitely use an update (recipe wise). It's the only thing lacking. Love their sweet potato fries, and regular fries were good as well. The pretzel is always a good option. The mustard and cheese with it delicious. Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hosts were rude at the entrance. Ended up sitting at the bar where Patrick was a breath of fresh air during a busy night. He had some great conversations with everyone who walked up or sat at the bar. Ordered the nachos and chili cheese fries. Couldn't have picked a better choice. It was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor! I will be returning!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Nachos

We stopped in for lunch. Great service and they handle crowds well. Good food but my BBQ benchmark is Joe’s KC. PROTIP: plenty of parking for oversized vehicles behind the restaurant.

Not bad! I’d say it’s just your average bbq place. If you want real bbq to visit Joes bbq in KC. fires are good and service is amazing. The bbq is good but doesn’t hold up against real bbq in KC. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was so good - best ribs. We got the judges plate - enough for 4 people or 2 really hungry guys. Potatoes salad was amazing! Sweet potato fries were delicious! Since we came almost at closing time they ran out of chicken but replaced with turkey. Overall, it was way above our expectations!!

As a KC girl, this BBQ would be in the running for top notch...I would give this more stars, but they had run out of burnt ends. 🙁 You HAVE to get the Basted Nachos!!! The Wagyu Brisket Plate (mine is with Poblano Sweet Corn Brulee & Sweet Potato Casserole) was to die for. We also ordered okra (was a little under fried for our liking) & the other gals got the Austin sandwich. One got a Piggy Punch (red) & the other a Lakewater (green). I went with my usual...a sweet tea. Oh, & they are super fast with bringing your food, too!!
