I come to Thailand every year for a few months of cycling and adore the food, including their typical soups for breakfast. But after a couple of months I long for a typical breakfast from my home country Germany: a decent sourdough bread with cream cheese and "Wurst". And Achim does the rye-wheat sourdough stick to absolute perfection. Really made my day! PS. Fortunately there's a Makro right next door for the toppings

Best baker I’ve ever met. He whistles in the morning and bakes everything fresh. His staff and team is inviting and kind. It honestly lifts my spirits just coming here. I’m from America and don’t get this often. Thanks a lot @German Bakery

Hands down the best bakery in the Gulf of Thailand. Fantastic service and those croissants? To die for. Definitely feels like they love their job. Chocolate croissant for example: most times that is a croissant with a minimal amount of chocolate. Not so here, rich and full of chocolate as it should be.
Delicious bakery in BanTai. Coffee is good, bakery items are excellent. Every Thursday they have a special on Pretzels. German owner is friendly and does most of the baking himself.
I love this, coffee and pastry were really good Food: 5

The croissants are just fantastic. I think I've never had such a good one in Europe!
Perfect place if you crave for a piece of good quality and good taste pastry. Croissants for 55 THB are great (regular and vanilla ones were ok for us, but the chocolate one... it's divine! Hard to find such a masterpiece even in Europe). Also buns were very good. And stuffed bun with salami, cheese etc. (90 / 120 THB) tasted exactly like in middle Europe. Definitely worth of visit.
First time for German bakery on the island. I love the variety of breads we can try many things like a whole grain bread, sesame bread, plain croissant… My favorite one is chocolate croissant it’s melty inside but I prefer not too up with sugar. I bought 2 breads and 1 chocolate croissant for 135 thb. I rate 4 starts because I don’t want sugar on the chocolate croissant :P So far I am happy and will go back again.
Great stuff and quality, however like thailand in general, overpriced: coffee, orange juice 2 boiled eggs and a croissant, a bun and butter: 495 bht that's roughly 14 euro? Again in this case you pay for the quality so I don't mind , in general that balance between quality and price is gone in thailand.
