Definitely a gem and place to get american/mexican eats. Server is nice and food comes out quickly. This drive-in had all the character to match its food with putting down some tasty staples. 10% for military too!

Local diner style burger spot in the middle of a Wichita Falls neighborhood. The place is small but had a good amount of seating and parking. Very clean inside with friendly service. I had the small double cheeseburger with fries. The burger was just ok and a bit bland. The fries were a bit soggy and unseasoned.

Gene's Tasty Burger is back on the lunch get together with friends! It had been awhile, but the newest owners brought back the quality and goodness that had been missing! Definitely will be back again!

I had been hearing on the Bear 104.7 radio station that Gene's was reopened and it had been years since I was there, so I was hungry one evening last week and I decided to check it out. I was really impressed with the remodel of the inside and I ordered a large Cheeseburger with Jalapeno's, fries and a unsweetened tea. The food was outstanding, almost as good if I had made it myself. I highly recommend.

My Wife and I stopped by for lunch on Nov. 16th. The line at the door was impressive. The order taker was overwhelmed and needed help. I ordered a small double cheeseburger with large fries. The burger tasted good but there was no cheese. The fries are small cut and I feel like I received a small portion, not the large I ordered. My Wife ordered a large single patty burger with onion rings. She said the burger was good. The onion rings are obviously frozen. They were not thawed before cooking and several were stuck together. They looked like they had been run over by a truck, the batter was broken and falling off. All things considered, lunch was not a pleasant experience. The napkins that are on the table are the worst excuse for a napkin I have ever seen. Some were in the holder upside down but they tore (shredded) when you tried to pull them out of the holder, no matter which way they were turned. On a better note, the place looks so much better with the new paint and the new flooring.

I made my second visit today and I am impressed. The burger was made exactly to my order and tasted great. The French fries were larger than the shoestring fries on my first visit and were very good. The service was much better. My Wife and I will definitely be back. Thank you.
