Super friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. The coffee is extraordinary good and I couldn’t resist to buy some of the cool merchandise and some beans for at home. Some vegan options available, which where perfectly delicious, especially the chocolate cake. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you are visiting madeira for the first time this is definitely spot that you need to stop by along your island tours. I absolutely love the Gato Legal family 💙💛. If you’re looking for delicious breakfast with a variety of options, along with the best coffee on the island then look no further. The food is consistently delicious and packed with flavour with really good prices. If you’re not in the mood for breakfast they’ve got some tasty sandwiches, burgers and pies to choose from! They’ve also got fresh bakery treats if you’re in the mood for something sweet.

Great find on the way to Porto Moniz. They roast their own coffee which tasted great. We had the two vegan pies -Chickpea and Lentil/bean. Served with a very nice salad. Will definitely go back. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visiting Madeira for the first time, a few beautiful and breathtaking places were found. I lost my heart on this magic Island. Until you step into Gato Legal Coffee Roastery. This place is a true gem. The young couple that owns this place is part of every cup of delicious coffee, (best I ever had) every plate of food speaks of true quality. If you want to relax, spend time with good people, have a freshly brewed coffee, this place is where you find it all and more. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The best place in Madeira to drink coffee in it. Different kind of delicious coffee and wonderful sweets. Tasty food. I think that owners really like what they do.
We’ve tried the Breakfast stack, veggie burger, vegetarian bolo do caco, lemon cake and cookie with salted caramel. Everything was super delicious! Their house blend specialty coffee was a top notch as well. Absolutely recommend. 👍
