Great Indian restaurant in Swakopmund right in the center of town. It was recommended by the hotel concierge as a great place to enjoy vegetarian food and we were not disappointed. Good lively vibes, simple bit colorful decor and the wonderful staff. Dishes were great and had an impromptu praise from a couple sitting on the next table saying “your food is divine!” Clearly we had nothing to do with the food, but I guess she meant the A”food from India” as we clearly looked Indian 😁. We also found the dish to be great. Later had a chance to talk to the chef as we were leaving and also the owner as they clearly were thrilled that we liked the food and could tell them in our native language! (Makes me wonder if the couple who talked to us thought we were the owners!)
Would recommend this place on your list if you crave for some spicy Indian food!

We’re here from Canada. And this was authentic and delicious. Amazing food and probably the best Masala Chai I’ve ever had in my life! All the staff went above and beyond, amazing service!

The service was great and the food was fantastic! Very fresh ingredients and lovely spices. Very good alternatives for vegetarians. The ambient could be better. Lights dimmed, darker colours and proper table cloths perhaps.

The restaurant serves really good Indian food…the owners are really so down to earth and friendly…we were late for dinner but they managed to prepare our food on time…our driver was missing so the owners stayed with us outside the restaurant until the driver arrived….definitely you have to try food in Garnish when you are in swapokmund

Worst customer ever. I took my 2 nephews and niece out for dinner. We made a reservation, got there and waited 20 minutes before drinks orders were taken. It wasn’t a really busy night. There were open tables. 2 groups which came after us got their drinks and food before us. We were the only table with black people and the kids are the ones who noted that 1st. A waitress finally came after I had to call and tried to make up for the poor service and neglect from other waiters. What a disappointment.
