The food was delicious!! we got the bulgogi it was grilled and marinated to perfection! They also gave a pretty generous portion so it felt very worth the price. Also tried the combination soonduboo which was soooo yummy. Definitely worth trying this place out if you’re looking for authentic Korean cuisine Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Combination Soon-Doo-Boo

Everything feels dirty. Floors, the tables, the dishes. Aside from that, the food is good. It's hot and fresh. Which I guess is understandable since they were quite busy. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

One of the better Korean spots around the area! Soondubu and dolsot bibimbap are really good as are the plenty of banchan. I personally would have liked the kimchi pancake crispy rather than soft but I’d still get it again. The Gangnam chicken was a letdown though. It’s slathered in sauce that was heavy and didn’t let the spices in chicken stand out. The mustard chicken was much better and would be interested in trying other flavors. Overall great vibes. No wait for a larger group on a weekday night but definitely very busy. I imagine there can be waits on weekends. I recently tried the Tofu Soup and Gangnam Chicken at Gangnam Tofu in El Cerrito. The food was decent and came in a good portion for two, which was nice. However, I must say that while it was tasty, I couldn't help but notice the chicken's coating was a bit too thick for my liking. Additionally, there was some confusion regarding the type of chicken used for the fried chicken; sometimes, you get the chicken breast, leg, and wings. Despite these minor drawbacks, the dishes were reasonably priced and worth trying if you're in the area. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
The spicy grilled marinated chicken was terrific. (Dak Bul-Go-Gi) The Beef rice bowl (beef Dol-Sop-Bop) was also good, especially when you apply a generous dolop of the sauce they provide with the dish. The food at this Korean restaurant is quite good. We ordered stone pot bibimbap and fried chicken. The stone pot bibimbap was decent, and the fried chicken was very crispy. Additionally, the side dishes were impressive, especially the eggplant and broccoli. It's worth mentioning that the restaurant was quite crowded, but there were relatively few servers, and they were not very attentive.

Once you enter the building, write your name and the amount of people on the sheet of paper on the left. We had to wait for almost an hour (5 people) but it was so worth it! The food was super delicious, still on the affordable side. I would suggest to eat family style to really try as many dishes as possible! Parking is pretty easy, even on a Friday evening it was possible to easily park. I didn’t fear about smashing windows here, but to be safe you shouldn’t leave anything in the car either. Not a lot of Korean restaurants around this area, so this place gets all the hype and to some extent rightfully so! We have been fortunate enough to pick tons of Korean places where we live(SF). Overall the food is good here and the service is so and so, but definitely appreciate all the hardworking ladies both at the front and in the kitchen. We will definitely try other items if we are in the area again, probably when they are not in rush. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $100+

fav mom and pop korean food place in the east bay. lovely fried whole/half chicken. my fav was soy & garlic and also sweet & spicy. rice cake with cheese and ramen was really good. stews are soul warming on cold days. very friendly staffs and accommodated our large party at short notice
The best Korean food ever!!! I was surprised by the side dishes, lots of variety and very tasty. Besides, the fried chicken is a must try item, mustard sauce is never lose, please try it if you have no idea which one is good, you’ll not disappoint. It’s already my second time within a month, I love it! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
