You should definitely make a reservation. The food was as delicious as any of the top restaurants in big cities. The sole was perfectly cooked and flaky. The lamb was so tender and juicy. Everything about the experience was exquisite. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cramped space, questionable service practices, and expensive prices hamper otherwise good food. I came alone and they seated me at the bar instead of giving me a table. There isn't enough space in the restaurant for staff or guests to comfortably move around without nearly running into each other. The bathroom was no exception. After being seated and ordering a full meal, the bartender asked me three times about getting a drink. Even after I got one, they never gave me water, so I had to ask for it. They got indignant when I asked for a refill, seemingly as if they just wanted me to leave right after eating. When I got the cheque, I paid in cash but didn't receive my change back. Not going back.
Great service and amazing food. The best thing the waitress did was to ask how long we wanted to wait between the starters and the main courses. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

I had the three course menu with soup, veal and creme brûlée. The soup was very good, and was a good portion. The veal was also good, but way too big portion and the meat could have been more tender. The dessert was very good! We had some wine and drinks with the food, which was all very good. The waiters were super friendly and welcoming, and there was a good atmosphere! It was also nice to sit outside with the heating lamps. Would come back, but will maybe have the beef instead next time.
Amazing. Great food and excellent customer service. Very good local beer. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
The food was great, the service could be more polite and not 'throw' the plates with food, but overral a good experience. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We really enjoyed our dinner at Gamla Masters. The restaurant is small but they made the most of all the space including the bar area, lounge couch and restaurant. This also contributed to a good atmosphere. The food was good, portions were good size and they offered daily options. We enjoyed the food and left full and content. It is traditional Swedish food! Our waiter was really nice as well. The only thing that bothered us (even impacted our experience) was the annoying bartender. He was continuously out in the restaurant talking to the table next to us, which was really close to ours. We couldn't focus on our own experience with him standing there making jokes with his friends at the table next ours. It was really bothersome and shouldn't be ok. Overall I hope they think about that for future, otherwise the experience was really great!
