I was here in July 2023 2x. This was my 3rd time and each time it was for dinner. We had a reservation and seated on arrival. This time we had Sriracha Curds and salmon cakes as starters. Both were good no complaints. For the meal we had teriyaki salmon and shrimp pasta. We enjoyed both meals. Very fresh, flavorful, hot, and nicely plated. 👌 I will order all of this again.

Gave this place a try last week. Reservations easy to make and they had tables open for an early (6:30) Saturday night. Visually, I don't think this place knows what it wants to be - club, sports bar, or restaurant. TV's everywhere, a long oval bar that seats close to 40 people, bass-heavy club music, and interesting greenery hanging from the ceiling. It is definitely not a sit-down meal place even though with the prices they are trying to be.
We were seated in the middle of one of two seating areas. The seats were very cushy, so much so that the table ended up being a little higher than expected.
Our dinks were good, but it is difficult to find something other than a vodka-based drink, obviously their bar is focused on a 20-something crowd. I stuck to a glass of wine (about a 3 oz pour for $11), the wife to a bubbly concoction. The Short rib bao buns as an appetizer were good, but a bit juicy, so much so that the bao buns had almost disintegrated through by the time they got to the table. Both of ours fell apart when we picked them up out of the great presentation.
Main food-wise, the wife had the teriyaki salmon and I had the blackened shrimp. Her salmon was good, came with both teriyaki and another sauce and she said it was cooked a little closer to well/medium well.
My blackened shrimp could best be described as shrimp in a mediocre spicy alfredo sauce. The shrimp were obviously sautéed without an effort to blacken them and the spice combination was nothing close to a creole flavor. In addition, the shrimp were mixed in with the underlying pasta (which was well past al dente). Certainly edible, but not worth the cost of the dish ($28).
All told, the total bill of a shade over $100 for two drinks, an appetizer and two mains was a bit much for what was presented. Most certainly not heading back there again, even for a special occasion.

The service was amazing. My server Madeline was AMAZING. She made sure everything was up to our standards. BUT the host Jess… she was phenomenal. She wanted to seat us in the lounge which was beautiful, but did not fit our party standards. She put us in a booth that satisfied us so much more.

idk why this place has such a high rating. i went there for dinner and didn’t enjoy my experience….the food is mid with tiny portions and is overpriced. you can’t hear anything because it’s so loud. the service is slow. they also don’t tell you they automatically add gratuity and then still ask you to tip on top of that 😭😭. the only good thing here is the cocktails!! will not be returning.

Gala Park Social is a beautiful modern space in a non pretentious way. The food was delicious and updated. I had ceviche in a tequila marinade. Wow. The freshness of the sea bass was definitely apparent in this dish. 5⭐. The quail had crispy skin and was cooked perfectly. 5⭐ The smash burger and fries was super as well. The dish definitely looked like a large fast food chain. Definitely an elevated burger experience with a fantastic sauce. 5⭐

Let’s talk about exceptional! If you’re looking for great customer service, amazing drinks, delicious food and a vibe all wrapped in one… Galla Park Social is the place for you! My girls and I met here for our girls night out and it was everything and then some! Megan was our server and was super efficient! Then every manager came to table to say hi, how are the drinks and food, and then gave recommendations on what to try next.. we basically had one or two of everything on the menu… We definitely know how to eat and drink. Then it turns into a nightclub after 11.. total vibe!! Kenny and Kelvin are fantastic managers! And the owner Andrew was beyond amazing. It’s a 10 out of 10 for me! Definitely will be back!!

The food was average with above average prices and the atmosphere during dinner is too clubby. It feels like you’re in a night club trying to eat an upscale dinner with tons of screens and loud music. We got the cheese curds to start and that was honestly the best thing. For dinner, I got the veggie stack which in reality was a quinoa black bean burger with salad on top. I could’ve made much better. The salad on top was the best part of the dish. My partner got the blackened shrimp pasta. The shrimp wasn’t blackened and he said the sauce tasted bland and one note of melted cheese. Nothing felt upscale or handmade. If I wanted this vibe I could’ve gone to a chain restaurant. The only reason why I can think they got 4.9 stars is because they had a soft opening. Most of the 5 star ratings are from people writing their first review. Disappointing. I will not be coming back.

I visited Galla Park Social in the anticipation of their reopening and was truly impressed with the service and quality of food. To start, the decor and food was to DIE FOR. Their new chef introduced new menu items that bounced off my palate and left me asking for more. No crumb was left on any plate from our table because the food was so tasty and delicious. The staff was attentive and informed about their menu items, dietary needs and knew what to suggest for food and cocktail items. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun and more sophisticated compared to what the Short North has to offer. The new decor and lighting was perfect for group photos and as a photographer I truly appreciate how much the venue has to offer. Galla Park Social has been worth the wait. If you stopped in before the reopening, be sure to check it out again for the new and improved menu and upbeat vibes.
First time back since the rebrand and I am loving all the newness. The staff were all so sweet and attentive. Tristen was our server and he definitely made sure we were taken care of and made great recommendations for cocktails and food. They have fun light cocktails and three different types of espresso martinis- perfect for desert. All the food was really good - favorites being the ribeye and teriyaki salmon.

I would describe the experience as non-cohesive.
The ambiance of the space is trying to be too many different things at once and the plating and presentation were upscale (as was the price) but the food itself wasn't particularly good. It wasn't bad, but at that price range, I expect more.
They seem to be too focused on branding and atmosphere, but in my opinion, the quality of the menu comes first, and it felt as if it was an afterthought.
It was a fun spot to have dinner and a couple of drinks, but it wasn't anything to write home about, and I can't imagine I'll be going back.
