One of my favorite spots in Little Saigon. They have limited items on the menu. But they excel in making the best tasting Pate Chaud Ga (puff pastry with chicken filling).
Gala is great for their Steamed Buns, Chicken Pate Puff Pastry and The Best Vietnamese Iced coffee in the area. Having lived around here for decades, this place is my favorite. The smell of hot pate, delicious, and the coffee is balanced and flavorful with enough kick to get you going. $4 coffee. $3 for steamed buns. 7a-3p.
Gala I believe has the best cafe Sua da or Vietnamese iced coffee in Westminster. They have a great business focused on their coffee. I get their half gallon to go when I’m there and it costs $28, kudos to them for being able to charge this. It’s a reminder if you do something great, you are welcome to charge for it and people will come if you are consistent.
Dang. I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews. I bet everyone is trying to keep it their little secret.
Best Cafe Sua Da(Ice Coffee) in all of Bolsa. A little on the sweeter side. Best Banh Mi Trung(Fried Egg Sandwich) and Best Pate Chaud Ga(baked pastry with chicken). That's a lot of bests.
When I lived in OC. I came here every morning on my morning commute for 3 years. Every day. 1 of the owners Tim is a great guy and the older gentlemen loves photography we'd chat about cameras all the time. My commute was from South County to West LA. OMG you're thinking. I know... even with that serious of a commute, I would stop here for breakfast and coffee to-go and for a few minutes while waiting for my Banh Mi Trung, eating my Pate Chaud Ga, and drinking my Cafe Sua Da. I was having a great day. You will too.
I live in LA now, but when I visit, I always come here first. Open from 6am to 6pm on the button. Every day!
Parking can be crazy on the weekend mornings, but a spot opens up in a few minutes or park on the street.
