Went there for a culinary adventure.
Food was good. Quite similar with Asian-style food which use spices.
I tried the lamb. It was very nice. Meat was tender, seasoning is at point. Will come back again.

This place is a gem, honest people making delicious traditional dishes from their homeland, with great service, atmosphere and prices. I'm only here for 3 more days but I am considering coming back to try something different from the menu. Loved it!

Maybe i had too much expectations after reading all the reviews on google and TripAdvisor. For me, it was just ‘hmmm’. I had this big sharing platter where you get many dishes, salad and the wraps to share with your table and we were 5 of us sharing so we ordered the most expensive one. Still, it was a bit disappointing. Im not saying its bad, but it was not wow at all.

Absolutely delicious food! My favorite restaurant in Stavanger. Unique experience. Fantastic beef with rosemary and tomato sauce, different small vegetarian options (potatoes with spinach, lentils, etc). It’s frustrating that you can’t book a table here, it can be often fully packed.
Service is not the best though. The waiter was not even smiling, looked irritated and we felt he is not enjoying his job at all. Our table was a bit broken and moving a lot.
But looking forward to come back after their renovation work done. Hope they fixed the furniture.
Highly recommend to try this restaurant!
