First off, as a person of color, you don’t feel welcomed here. Vibe, greeting, energy and atmosphere all leave a lot to be desired. This place was on my list to try after navigating the south suburbs for a few months. The host was not that engaging, left me waiting at my table for several minutes before taking my order. In a diverse suburb like Glenwood, there were no Black people in this establishment. I tried the French toast, eggs, coffee and sausage. Nothing tasted fresh. The food was cold and this tells me 1 thing, that the food is pre-made ahead of time. Breakfast should be made fresh at the time of the order. Eggs, French Toast, Sausage were all cold and had no flavor. I paid and left. May be a good spot for some, but I’ll pass on this joint. Too often, there is a wait. Food okay but not as good as Dion's couple blocks away where you can always get seated quicker. Food is better and it is cheaper. Went for breakfast on New Years Day with one family member. Due to it being holiday the restaurant was quiet. I had stuffed French toast and family member had skillet. Reasonably priced. Owner and his family were the waiters. Very happy with the cute xmas decorations. Nice atmosphere. Definitely will return. I ordered the 3 egg Greek omelette with bacon. It was very large and very tasty. The server was excellent with great customer service. This was my first time here. 1. NO HOSTESS to greet and seat you. 2. Rude inept waiters 3. VERY Poor service. 4. NO parking. 5. NO refills on coffee. 6. VERY EXPENSIVE for the food served. 7. NO manager present. 8. OVERALL run by INEPT IDIOT Hispanic waiters who do not know how yo satisfy nor take care of customers. 9. Owner's are not there and the help has run down the restaurant. 10. Their breakfast was a disappointment. I got biscuits and gravy. The gravy was lukewarm and bland and the biscuit was hard. My husband had the corned beef hash. It was sliced out of a can and barely fried on each side, hence being barely warm. I won’t be back for their breakfast.
