We had an extremely positive dining experience here at Fu Lue, initially as a group of two—for a few times—then as an extended family of nine. The person in charge, Khun Som, and her team made sure that we were catered in the best possible way. She had spent significant time suggesting us which dishes were the highlight, explaining us that some similar naming dishes did have a distinction—which we were well informed of their differences, thanks to her. All of the dishes selected were indeed succulent and fresh. The soup was spot-on. Main seafood dishes were great. As this was within the vegetarian festival, there were also selections of non-meat dishes as well. Our family members just could not stop complimenting them! Veggies were cooked in an exceptional way.
We also tried their dim sum. Our caterers ensured our drinks were never run out of. The quality of dim sum is above and beyond most we have ever tried in Thailand and a few abroad. Khun Som mentioned that since all the dim sum were freshly made to order, not frozen, guests are advised to make a reservation and order in advance to ensure the best possible experience.
All in all, this establishment has become our go-to place when visiting Cha-Am and Hua Hin. We will definitely continue to patronise the place in the forseeable future. Thank you so much for the ample service we have had.
On a global scale I'd give 3 of 5, but for Cha-Am / HuaHin, this is as good as it gets for Quality Cantonese Food. Very enjoyable, authentic dishes.
Must try all DimSum but please attention, it's only served in the morning up to noon time. The roast duck is Beijing Style, not Hong Kong style, deliciouals and correctly made with skin sperate from the meat preparation. I'll come again and again.
The prices are absolutely fair for what you get. Some reviewer may not be used what DimSum is when they say expensive and small portion. Please don't expect Thai prices and portions, and you will have a great time.
Bring your friends and book a round table, the decoration is just like what you would expect from a great Cantonese Restaurant.
I have 25 years experience in eating DimSum and Chinese food, grew up in Hong Kong.
