This is Maryland's best fried chicken hands down! The food is super fresh. Easy ordering on their computer, great flavor and large portions. We ordered fried chicken, brisket, Mac n Cheese, pizza, smoked wings and a milkshake. EVERYTHING was amazing! We will definitely be traveling here once a week. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My first review was awesome but today it’s totally different. I ordered 2 wings with potatoes wedges, extra biscuits and sauce and this is what I got and nobody wants to give me my money back. Do NOT ORDER FROM HERE Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Last time I reviewed here it was a Chicken Shack enjoyed. No I think a couple months later they revamped it and started doing more meats. WOW. So I ordered Potato Wedges (kinda sad the regular fries aren’t there) But it makes sense perfectly cook with a nice season of old bay Hawaiian Rolls nice a soft Sliced Texas Brisket this was the first time order Brisket in general and I really enjoyed it. (I can’t compare it to anything else) not two chew nice a seasoned great color as well Carolina Pulled Pork I had other PP that makes me feel heavy after but this made me feel GREAT all around great taste This. Last time I tried the Mac and Cheese (when it was solely a chicken place, also old owner I think). it was disgusting no flavor pretty much out a box from the shape of the elbows (small) BUT THIS. You can tell they actually cared about it, it taste like my aunts Mac and Cheese when they come over for christmas. nice and creamy but not too creamy fully cooked Pasta And it looks like they used a higher quality ones with nice bread crumbs. and the BBQ sauce I used was Kansas City BBQ Im not a huge fan of BBQ cause at times its too over powering but this was nice( also I asked for it on the side) Parking is great, clean space inside, you cant eat inside but I think around the side they have. The place is different from when it first opened. The chicken is as good as ever. It's still more of a take out place than an eat-in, but there are picnic tables available if you want to eat there (we did). The service was good and the food was worth the trek over. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I spent the last year driving 15,000 miles back and forth across the country in an RV and tried BBQ in as many places as I could in all the self proclaimed best cities. I made my first trip to Fryers Roadside today and I can’t believe the best BBQ I have come across in this country is only a few minutes from my home! I love brisket and I’m always nervous ordering it somewhere for the first time because it’s really easy to mess up. I tried it here today and WOW these guys know what they are doing! It had just the right combination of moisture, texture and flavor and a beautiful smoke ring. It barely needs any sauce, but the owner recommended the South Carolina Gold sauce and he was right. It’s the perfect compliment. I’m not usually a fan of potatoes wedges because most places give you a soggy wedge, but these wedges were perfectly crisped on the outside and were very good. My wife loved her Cuban Sandwich and my daughter was a huge fan of the fried chicken sandwich. The service was not only friendly but it felt genuine and not the fake nice that you get in some places. I’m so happy to have such a quality BBQ place so close to home.

The new owners really turned this place around, EVERYTHING IS AMAZING! We ordered the spicy tenders, pulled pork sandwich, ribs, wedges, biscuits and Mac & cheese. The ribs were so tender and seasoned to perfection. The bbq is amazing, they were sold out of the brisket but I’ll def be back soon to try that and more items on the menu.

We love to support local so when we saw this new spot, we had to check it out. We ordered the smoking’ hot fried chicken sandwich , 6 piece tenders, the brisket sandwich, potato wedges and Oreo shakes. We were pleasantly surprised how flavorful, tender but not over seasoned everything was. The kids loved the Oreo shakes too! We love this local gem and will definitely return. Food here was awful. The chicken was over-cooked and dry, the biscuits were dry and crumbly, the mac-and-cheese tasted like nacho queso had been poured over elbow macaroni, and the coleslaw was really just slaw. Food: 1

Quality and portion size was awesome. It was cold outside so didn't take advantage of the patio, but will do so when it gets warmer. Outdoor area has potential for live music (acoustic?) and generally a spot to enjoy great BBQ!!
