The people that work here get 5 stars from me This is aimed at just the store itself and my experience shopping there. It's always super busy. I love their coupons for "on-sale" stuff or digital coupon items but they rarely have those items on the shelf or in stock. They are always empty and they do not offer another product for the same price as Safeway does. That means that I am wasting a lot of time and effort to go there specifically for those sale items and it is a huge inconvenience and waste of my time. I also hate the buy five-get-a-dollar off of each item or buy 4. I don't need that many items. I would like to just buy a couple at most, but we don't need four or five bags of chips or four or five bags of cookies. It makes couples or people that have only one child very inconvenient You just end up spending a lot of money and not saving at all or you need to have room for a giant storage shed, which I don't have, so those are the dawn falls about the store. I want to find another store that has the same deals or maybe cooperate could do something about this. I want them to honor those deals and be able to count on them being in the store when I've planned accordingly.
Yes, it's a big chain grocery store. And this one is laid out well, stocked full and well staffed. Every isle is clean, organized and stays with their manyra of low prices and quality selections. The staff was quick and attentive. The checkout process was efficient and again, well staffed. We arrived here late Saturday night, needing supplies for the next day. The store was buzzing with staff replenishing and sharpening the store. We grabbed our needed items, and did so quickly, since the store was well organized. The restroom facilites were also clean (thankfully), fully stocked and notably lacking of wear and graffiti (again thankfully). This store, like many, includes a Starbucks, which is convenient. This Fry's includes a nice fueling bar and station, which is a nice bonus. The parking is extensive, which is also nice. The only drawback here is that there is literally no lighting in the parking lot. This is fine in the daytime, but a real safety concern at night, both for people driving who can't see pedestrians in to lot, and simply for the safety of guests concerned about crime and safety.
It was a nice store. Just a little busy to be understaffed at the registers, I get it. Time and payout equals cost. Still needs to be one more open register. Other than that, I like the store. Clean, and WOW are they quick to ask if you need help. That's nice.

After shopping here and other Kroger brands for years, I will never again spend a single dollar here. They don't care about their customers at all. Another customer hit my car in the parking lot while I was shopping in the store. When asked about security footage, they said they had it. However, they refused to give any information about the other car. This incident cost me hundreds of dollars. Their policies are negligent. Their store is dirty. Their products are often damaged and not well stocked. Don't shop here!
This frys has been confusing me constantly. I buy fresh produce that, in Phoenix, lasts me the whole week without going bad so I can use them for dinners, but here, they last three days and go moldy. The cashiers are very kind, I will give them that. The last thing that made me genuinely angry is that at the moment, I have ten whole dollars to my name and needed five of those for laundry, and the other five was being taken out so I could exchange for quarters for the bus. The person at the desk charges me a full $10 instead of taking out just the $5 and says "oh the system must have messed up. Oops." Soooo now I have a whole $0.20 with no clean laundry for classes. I'm actually considering swapping over to walmart now because their pharmacy is more competent, and the produce I have gotten from them has lasted longer. A+ to the cashiers though, they're the only reason I'm leaving more than two stars.

This is my go to place for groceries. The produce is always fresh. Good selection of produce and meats. The deli staff have always been very helpful and friendly. I would rate this plac 5 stars but they never have enough cashier's. They are trying to enforce the scanner guns and self checkouts. I prefer dealing with humans not some computerized system. Please add more cashier's. If you do not use the scanners and self checkout expect a long wait time to checkout.

Ordered a specific sandwich from their deli department and got something other than what we wanted. I called, and they got defensive real quick. Must happen quite often? I'll leave it to the pros at Subway. :D

They allow people to bring their pets in and walk around all willy-nilly; Thus exposing what should be sanitary food to animal germs. It is becoming more frequent, and today multiple people were in the store with dogs. None of which were marked as service animals. When asking a manager, basically stated that the can ask what type of service animal it is, but take no action. This is quite disappointing and disgusting. I’ve been a loyal Kroger customer for years; but I’m questioning my future business.

Whatever you do watch out for the cashier Lora. She was being severely racist to the hispanic men in front of us in line yelling at them to get their change (since supposedly yelling makes people with a language barrier understand). We went to buy liquor since it was my 21st birthday and handed her my vertical ID she didn’t even look at the date and immediately declined me, even though in the state of Arizona you have 30 days to flip your ID and grocery stores can still take a vertical in that time frame. After checking out with my RedBull we went to the front desk and spoke with the floor supervisor James, who fully understood my frustration and said that they can in fact take the vertical ID since it is my 21st birthday. He sold me the alcohol and apologized for how the cashier acted. As someone who works in customer service I understand having a bad day but you don’t take it out on your customers.
I searched both Flagstaff Safewaystoday and they did not have my addiction: Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey- but this Frys did! 🙈 🙊 🙉
