Employee: Heather Marshall - Super (5) Star Employee!
You can never say enough good things about someone who goes over and exceedingly beyond the call of extraordinary duty! That special somebody is "Heather!"
She made an otherwise daunting task quite calming. In sharing it is the first time and I had used the app and was absolutely clueless as I had a basket full of items that require said app in correlation to apply the discount. Which I might add is in and of itself tempting as I saved $50.00,
Nevertheless, I approached the self-checkout line and Heather greeted me with a smile and offered help. Yet it doesn't just stop there as she showed me how many items that I could purchase with the discount (up to 5), how to use the digital coupon in addition to the store discount and then she helped me bag my items!
She never made me rushed, pressured or hurried me along as I had a basket nearly toppling over. We got everything done in record time, and I left feeling empowered on how to use the app for future purchases.
I must say this is the best grocery store experience I have ever had; ever! Being forthcoming the complexity of the app was near deterring me but her beautiful persona, kindness, patience was the saving grace!
To that end I have told my co-workers, colleagues, friends and family and even strangers in passing about the savings and paid it forwarded by being just as kind doing unto others as I would have them do unto me. That Fry's my friend is the golden rule!
Golden indeed as she the beautiful made your store shine and she deserves all the rewards that you give your customers back to her ten-fold! Five X Five Stars is after ten! She's awesome and give her a huge raise and a promotion as she set the Gold Standard for customer service extraordinaire! You're the best Heather!
I've been coming to this store for the last 27 years and it Is pretty sad when you have to do everything yourself anymore, they used to have just the self-checkout for when you need just a few items.
Now they have full blown registers with the conveyor belts that send your groceries down to the end, and you have to bag everything yourself, which really is not that bad but the sad part is there's three employees standing there watching you and playing on their phones watching you and doing absolutely nothing, and then tell you to have a great night as you walk past them......pretty sad....
They don't teach thuer employees how to do thier job. I deposit money on my cash app there all the time there as been 4 different occasions where the customer service employee doesn't know how to do it and turns me away.i go back with a different employee and it's done in seconds. They need to either update training or higher people who actually know how to do thier job.
I have shopped at this store for 7 years. The employees are usually really kind. Their customer service department is efficient whenever I have issues. If you are ever lucky enough to get Carly (works at self checkout) as your cashier, you're going to have a great experience. The store is always clean. In the past, I've had some issues with finding expired product on the shelf, but I feel like they've gotten better in that aspect. They almost always have a good stock of products advertised in the weekly store flyers.
Great store clean facility very friendly staff prices are reasonable the location is great and the Free Fridays Downloads are really nice perk. The store is organized in a great way that makes finding things very easy. This location also has gas which is nice.
Fresh baked Cookies, organic chicken, sensitive Similac baby formula and manger's specials on London broil meats along current flat iron steak prices to add to your fuel points for cheaper gas, because we need it.
Great red mt dew sales and clearance "last change meats " , employees were very knowledgeable and actually willing and able to assist with checking out, even had a real life "bagger" , it was almost like the "Good 'ol days" "pre-2020" and "pre-covid" where people getting paid actually provided actual assistance and devices to actual customers, not just standing around pearing through their " Covid proof" 3X3 made in china" sneeze guards whilst the paying customer does their Job for them as the " Convienemt "Advanced technology " of AI continues yelling ams beeping at them as they try and navigate a system that is far from fail safe, within a rapidly failing system..... Thanks again for the help guys!
This grocery store has been our primary store for the past 3 years. All of the staff is unbelievable kind, patient & helpful. At Christmas the butcher helped me figure out the size cut I’d need to feed our large gathering and cut me a fresh prime roast. The cashiers are always patient and friendly along with the baggers. They also do a good job being mindful and respectful with the transient people that occasionally come in. Overall, it’s just a great culture they’ve created here & I love that it’s my neighborhood grocery store.
UPDATE: I was just there 7/2/2022 and the pharmacist (older lady with shoulder length hair) is rude and snarky.
The cashier was so disinterested in her job. I rather take my money to Safeway.
The store it's self is fine but one time I got the fried chicken meal which consists of fried chicken and some cold side. The whole point of getting a meal like that is too not cook. But for some reason they stopped serving hot mac and cheese or mashed potatoes. Then I ordered a "custom " cake with a vanilla filling. I think it was that filling used for Bavarian donuts. The cake was good but cheap on the filling, they didn't even go to the edge of the cake. And I didn't realize till I got home they got the name wrong. It was supposed to be Ivy and that looks like Joy.
