Come here and order nicely cooked cheeseburgers, bacon and tomato soup. Good ice cream sundaes, fudge and hot fudge sundae will impress you at the first bite. Based on the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve good frappes. The intimate atmosphere of this restaurant allows guests to relax after a hard working day. The well-trained staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Service at Friendly's is something one can name prompt. Prices are fair for the quality you receive. Thankful that this friendlys is still here. I have been able to take my 87 year old friend here years after the Augusta location closed. It was extra nice because Jonny recognized her from years ago. He was great, efficient, good at multitasking and friendly. Food was great. I am pretty upset right now. We went for a quick lunch before a Dr. appt. Everything was fine. Well, not the soda. The sprite tasted like there was mold in the lines. So I let the waitress know. Then my bill came $30 ish, I tried to decipher it between all the +’s and minuses. I guess she didn’t take the soda off, oh well. I gave my card, when it came back it was charged $20 higher. I asked the waitress about it. She came back with some excuse of there’s no pick 3 anymore and now it’s higher. I said you just gave me the itemized bill and it was $20 cheaper. She pointed me to the manager. Whom also tried the same no pick 3 anymore. My daughter pulled a table sign off the table with pick 3 on it. She then slid my receipts to me to get me out of there. Too bad. The waitress was going to get a $10 tip but I am not sure who was trying to rip me off. WICKED BUMMER! 👎🏻 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 2

Can't do less than one star unfortunately, Can't rate the food as we were never seated. No receptionist, the wait staff wouldn't make eye contact and the restaurant was almost empty. Stopped for Lunch on the way to the office 12/28/23. Ordered a Reuben w/fries and Coke. Excellent experience - Reuben meal was delicious, service from Cathy as I recall was 5 star...can't wait to return ..in 2024 of course. No ice cream this time, but that's just fine - did not need it. Haven't been to a Friendly's since the one in our town closed 8 years ago. This was an absolute delight. Better than any 5 star restaurant we have been to in a long time. People were friendly and personable. Food was incredible. And, we live in Maine. ALL restaurants are cold. It was actually a descent temp. All great things! Our server was cheerful, friendly and accurate in our orders. She was attentive without hovering. She was busy but didn't rush us. The food was great. Went for my birthday. Had planned to go to Cracker Barrel but they were rude, hateful and went out of their way to be jerks to us. Won't be returning there. FRIENDLY'S IS AWESOME! I love Friendly's, the food is always killer and the dessert is even better! I had the mac n cheese burger with a side of the honey bbq sauce. It's honestly always the best burger I've ever had. Our waitress was on top of everything and super fast with taking and bringing our order, which was a huge lifesaver cause we were actually just passing by through a cruise port, and it's very limited time (and we were pushing it 😅) The only thing I do have to vent about was the disturbingly odd family behind us which is the only reason I knocked down the atmosphere. They were having borderline inappropriate interactions and conversations with each other, very loudly, I might add. Seriously great food! We are from Illinois and only moved to Maine last year and we've been struggling to find restaurants we like here for some reason. Two of our favourite restaurants were Steak n Shake and Freddy's which made thin burgers and melts and had thin cut fries and shakes and we were sad to see there aren't any around. This place kind of helped us miss it less! It doesn't have the really thin cut fries or the meat and cheese patty melt but they have amazing food! The fries are great and fresh and actually contain salt. We were so skeptical because we've had trouble liking places but literally everything we ate there was amazing and we got a lot! The mozzarella sticks were perfect. They were hot, fresh, crispy and the cheese was so stringy and goey and I feel its hard to find good mozzarella sticks! I was wanting that burger and cheese melt I was used to and it wasn't on the menu but they were able to accommodate me and make it anyways which was awesome! My husband had the doritos cool ranch burger and he loved his too. Both cooked perfectly and we can tell the meat is good and fresh and doesn't take like frozen patties. The burgers were well seasoned as well. He also had onion rings and says the batter was amazing and they were crispy and perfect. My 3 year old son had mac and cheese with hot dogs. We don't have much to say about this because it was just a hot dog, nothing special and it was kraft mac and cheese but he enjoyed his meal. Lastly we had Sundays! They had a qr code on the table for new people to join their rewards which I did and that got me a free medium Sunday. Since my husband ordered that burger which was a special he got a free small Sunday and I think the kids meal came with a free small Sunday as well so we all got free ice cream which was really unexpected but great. The ice cream was also perfect. We liked each version we got and really can't wait to come back again. Overall we had a great experience and we are really looking forward to coming back and hoping the next visit is just as good as the first! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
