Wonderful puff pastry, second visit- I drove to The French Whisk west of Yuba in Sutter. You have got to come here. They play french kinda bluest and jazzy music. And have great food and pastries. Such a nice drive in the country too.

What a great little spot, and very unexpected in Sutter where there are almost no other dining spots. They have breakfast and lunch here; they also offer pastries, treats and other baked goods. The girl who helps at the counter is always very warm and friendly. I've never had a bad experience here. This place is definitely worth a short detour off highway 20 for anyone passing through or even a drive from the Yuba City area. I highly recommend this business! If you haven't discovered The French Whisk, you are missing out! This is an absolute gem of a place to visit 😍 They have the most AMAZING pastries and sandwiches. On our last visit, we had the chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich that was SO delicious. You can get goodies to go, or you can sit inside or outside and order from the menu. We love to sit outside as it is so pleasant under the shade. It is SO worth the trip to the little place of Sutter outside Yuba City! Go give a try!

THE PIG PICKING CAKE WAS DELICIOUS! THE BREAD WAS SUPER GOOD ALL THE FLAVOR WAS THERE IT REMINDED ME OF THE ONE THE CAKE LADY USED TO MAKE. DEFINITELY WILL BUY AGAIN! EVER SINCE CAKE LADY CLOSED DOWN IHAVE BEEN SREACHING FOR THE RIGHT PIG PICKING CAKE AND THIS WAS IT!!! THANK YOU! <3
