Free Lap is a unique bike shop to the Reno-Tahoe area, offering a lot of premium brands, and bike builds for gravel, road and some mountain bike. The presentation and attention to detail in their shop and services are inspiring. Steve has been a great mechanic for all my bikes over the years and excited to see his shop flourish in Verdi! 5-star, very NICE!

Steve has been working on my many bikes for years and has always done A+ work. It is super awesome to see he and Pete open the Free Lap Collective. Their shop rivals the most prestigious shops you will ever find anywhere. I do hope everyone supports them so they remain in business for years to come.

Cant speak any more highly of Free Lap. Easily the coolest and most dialed bike shop in town. Free Lap is a shop for cyclists by cyclists. I stop in any chance I can get to check out whats new and say whats up.

Small, independently-run bespoke bike shop where you’d least expect it. Friendly staff who carefully curated quality apparel and gear. They also lead rides on Fridays. Definitely worth a special trip and it’s just off the 80 on the historic US40.
