I'm always happy with the produce and over-all variety of products but I just can't give 5 stars with some of those prices today. The one that stands out is Franz Cinnamon Raisin Bagels for $5.99! Unbelievable. Most stores I buy them at are $2.50-$2.99. Same EXACT product. On the plus side, it did get me to try the Kruger bagels for the first time and I found I liked them just as much or better for a more reasonable price.
This store has decent meat and produce department's unfortunately meat dept is almost always out of their advertised sale items. The employees always seem disgruntled, likely suffering from poor management from the vibe of things. Outside of meat and produce items are substantially overpriced, and their digital coupons add an unwanted complexity to shopping.
I have many reasons I don't go to Fred Meyer very often. Today, I gave it another try. The checker, D'Anna, confirmed once again how I don't like shopping there. We were at checkout and she decided it was a good time to gossip with the lady that was bagging. We waited several minutes waiting before she even acknowledged us. Then she kept apologizing and saying she was waiting for the bagger to finish the previous customer. Well, if she hadn't stopped her with gossiping, we wouldn't have been forced to wait. And yes, I call it gossip because she was talking about another employee and kept trying to cover her mouth when she spoke. It was very disturbing and disrespectful in many ways and to several people. It will be awhile before I shop there again. Thanks.
The last two times I've shopped there I've been treated rudely by the cashiers and overcharged on several items. If you ask a question about their very confusing coupons your really in for the rude treatment. Two times is enough for me there won't be a third... Shame on Fred Meyers for treating customers like that...
Great deals on clothing, love the quality of them. Produce, I find is better than any other store around where I live.

CHECK YOUR PRODUCE. I found live bugs in the baby broccoli, so called to inform their produce department in hopes to get bugs off the shelf. The employee didn’t seem worried or say that anything would be done about it but instead told me I should be talking to customer service about a refund.

My mother is on hospice and needed emergency medication. Unfortunately they messed up the billing and they were about to close. One of the staff paid 7 dollars of his own money to cover the cost. I almost cried. Truly wonderful people

They clearly state they price match and the rules on the website, I pulled up the Walmart website and you could physically pick up the item in store for $30 and they told me that’s only online but it wasn’t and they acted like I was stupid. I was treated very poorly in the store every employee has a poor attitude, will not be returning there is plenty of other places to shop with much more polite staff.

I've shopped Fred Meyer for years. It's a nice gricery/department store with better stock than other stores in the area. I just went for milk today.
