The pizza isn't good. However, if you like a yeasty, doughy pizza, you might enjoy this. Have you ever thought to yourself "I want chicken wings that are best describesd as soggy to the bone"? This is the place. I remember liking this place years ago, but this order can only be described as awful. It was delivered quickly. Quick delivery doesn't make garbage pizza worth 70 bucks, though. I hate to leave a bad review, but I spent 70 bucks on two 10 inch pizzas and Buffalo wings and not a bite was good. How do you screw up pepperoni pizza? Food: 1 Service: 4

My 1st time here. Not super happy with it. I came here because my friends have talked recently about the ability to get a slice! So I went to the counter and asked for a slice. The cashier lady said just one slice? I told her it was my first time here. I pointed to the pizzas on my right and I said that's the pizza that I get to choose from, correct? And she said yes. So I reiterated and, said yes just one slice. I thought she would have said something like Welcome to our pizza place, here's the specials, you get two slices and a pop for $10. Or whatever the deal is. So I got one pizza slice for $4.99, and I added on one cookie with a total of $6.74 or something. She was as about as uninterested in being there as possible. I was there on Sunday night in the late evening. I went home, ate my delicious pizza. Told my friends on Facebook about it, this weird transaction. And they all told me that the reason why she asked why only one piece of pizza, was that there was a deal where you can get two slices of pizza and a pop for x amount of dollars. And there's even a deal where you can get four slices of pizza for with a pop for x amount of dollars. And now I'm irritated that that lady did not offer that deal when I specifically told her that this was my FIRST time at the Pizza place. I think that is poor interactions with someone who's specifically said this is my first time at the pizza place. I don't have photos. I have been in Minnesota for 26yrs as a Chicago transplant!!! I had beem wanting to try Frankie's deep dish for some time and finally did. IT WAS AWESOME!!! now I don't have to wait until I go back home to have some authentic deep dish pizza!!!! Thank you Frankie's!!!! I'm drooling just thinking about their food. Everything we ordered was delicious and worth the drive and wait. Tables are limited to FCFS. This location operates like a deli and is counter service. Come here on your lunch break. They offer more by-the-slice options, whereas the New Hope location is dine-in with table service, go there for a night out with friends and family. I grew up on Frankie’s and haven’t been there in awhile. My wife and I decided to stop and try it and wow, it was amazing. The decor is fun. I love the large over head menu. The staff were extremely attentive. I am always looking for a good Chicago dog and I’ve struggled to find one until today! Frankie’s has a great Chicago dog. Large flavorful freshly made hot dog topped with the right ingredients. I personally would have like a little more celery salt but it was still delicious! I will be back for more. We also shared a piece of pizza. A pepperoni and green olive. Great crust extremely flavorful sauce! Nice amount of toppings. Overall this has become on of our favorites! I always wanted to try Chicago Deep Dish/Stuffed pizza. I asked around, and many people recommended Frankie's. My girlfriend and I went over and ordered their Buffalo Wings and a whole 14-inch Deep Dish/Stuffed pizza. We kept it simple with just cheese, sauce, tomatoes, spinach, and basil. You can order by the slice, but for the experience I personally want, I ordered a full pizza. 1. The wings were covered in their Buffalo sauce. The sauce was good and tangy. The chicken was soggy (due to the sauce, obviously), but it was nice and moist. These were decent wings, but not the go-to. 2. The full 14-inch Chicago Deep Dish/Stuffed pizza was beautiful when it got to the table. It looked exactly like it does on TV/social media. Pulling a slice out follows a godly pull of cheese. Perfection. The sauce was not too sweet, which I prefer, because I prefer a more natural taste. It was super cheesy, which is heaven for cheese lovers like myself. Man, eating this pizza was a mess, haha. It definitely was heavy and hearty. After one slice, I was stuffed and tapped out. I am thankful for Frankie's for allowing us Minnesotans to have a chance at trying out Chicago Deep Dish/Stuffed pizza. It was really good, but personally, I prefer the classic or New York style pizza. If you want good pizza or good food in general, or want to try Chicago Deep Dish/Stuffed pizza, definitely stop by Frankie's. Their other items on their menu looks epic too. Pizza was good, BUT, super disappointed in customer service. The gal at the counter was super unfriendly and didn’t even pretend to not hate her job. Waited forever for our pizza, and it just wasn’t worth the price. Also, my daughter’s chicken nuggets looked and tasted disgusting. BTW- I said chicken “nuggets” on your children's menu, not tenders. regardless, it was chicken on your children's menu, and it tasted microwaved. I have eaten at the New Hope location and it was much better than the Mg location both in quality and costumer service. Regardless of whether you feel the customer is right, you should respond as such and offer an apology for a poor experience. This response to my review only illustrates the poor customer service we received with in the restaurant. Also, do the environment a favor and ditch the styrofoam plates. Fast and friendly take out service. The restaurant was clean and social distancing guidelines were strictly followed. The take out silverware and sides are all individually wrapped which is nice. Pizza was delicious. Thick and hearty. It was filled with cheese and toppings. The crust was amazing and thick too. No need to have it well done, unless you want a crunchy crust. We will definitely take away from here again. The pasta was pretty plain flavor wise but very cheesy.
