In my opinion they bake the Best French Bread 🥖 in Sonoma County, I make a special trip down to their bakery to get in Santa Rosa, always fresh and tasty 😋

Just like other numerous business places that can’t update their hours of business, This is another. CLOSED Thursdays !! Wednesday is anyone’s guess, It use to be closed on Wednesdays. Change the hours on the window but not on the website, That makes zero sense. Thanks for the drive across town for no reason. Great bread !! When they are open.

What a treat! After stumbling upon this place I'm never buying bread from the grocery store again. Franco is priced better and more importantly, it tastes fantastic.

The sour dough reminds me of when I was a child. We live in Seattle now, every time we are in the area we get some bread it's best with salami. Just like when we were kids. SO GOOD!!
A great neighborhood bread shop!
This is nice place and if you live close by it is a place I would go more often. They are nice folks and have been here a loooong time. While their breads are more "commercial", they are still good local bread. There are many places in SR with better though if you truly want lovely bread.
Have purchased bread here ever since I can remember. A little kid I guess. I love the smell when you walk bye. They are great always have some sort fancy bread in the store. Was fun back then. Run to Stafanies get a piece of salame and I was set.b
They have this Wheat Sourdough that is shamefully good. I mean really? Wheat sourdough? I first sampled this at Don Taylor's Omlette Express and wanted to take some home. Well the nice staff let me know that I could have a whole loaf for a quarter of the price if I was willing to walk a couple of blocks. This is where I found a grand bakery, a tucked away gem of sweetness and light AND they keep regular folks hours. I'm just saying that I wish I could give them another star just for that fact alone. No struggling to wake up at 5 am to get that piping hot loaf. 8:30 baby. Do yourself a favor and go there now.
This is their outlet location, along with their bakery. Hours are a little strange so be sure to check before coming by. Their loaves, which generally run >$4 in retail grocery, are $2 - $3 here. They also have special orders that don't pick up and day old. A great place to stop and pick up whatever they have that works for the week's meal plans.
