Today I stopped at Foster Freeze for lunch and I had the best lunch ever especially in Barstow California. The fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection. I am not exaggerating when I say that the fries were the best fries I have ever had in my whole life. The service was impeccable. The food is good. Service is good. It’s a little hot in the dining room, but hey, it’s Barstow. It’s hot everywhere. Tuesdays are $5 banana split day. Can’t go wrong there. 4 stars. Joe Bob says “check it out”.

Well this was my 1st time at a Foster's Freeze and I was not impressed!! They wouldn't substitute my fries for zucchini so I bought an order of those at $2.99 and there were literally 4 1/2 pieces of way over cooked zucchini in a very small bag. The ranch dressing was so runny it got all over my work shirt... The fries that came with my burger were soggy, limp and barely warm. Im afraid to try the burger but I will later and review that. Thanks Barstow, I surely won't forget you!

I was passing through Barstow and found this Foster's Freeze. When I was pregnant 31 years ago, in El Cajon, CA, I craved their real strawberry shakes. They are the BEST. This Foster's is real cute inside and clean with friendly employees. They serve food too but the strawberry shakes are like not other strawberry shake.
