Great donuts. The pecan roll & chocolate covered cream filled are my favs. The maple long john with the peanuts is interesting as well. Mostly take out in the AM - very busy. Staff is great.

Fosdals Home Bakery is like a delicious secret!
Their humble exterior shows they care about everyone. Not only are they accessibility minded, but their mural is noticeable from afar if your an out of towner like me. Inside you'll find a welcoming bakery smell and their genuine greeting and smiles. There's a noticeable authenticity given to all the Norwegian made items in which to choose from that you can't find anywhere around or in nearby Madison, imho.
They were attentive and kind to give each customer service, which made the foottraffic move smoothly throughout the "Home Bakery" space which added to their charm. I decided to buy a variety goods on my visit, so be prepared to do the same, js!
It's definitely a bakery to talk about and go back to. Don't forget to buy treats for work or the special someone/s if you can. With all the wonderful goodies here, you'll soon be the one everyones talking about because they might not know the delicious secret yet!
My wife wanted to visit this bakery today after brunch and boy I was happy we did, it smelled so good inside very nice selection of pasteries, very friendly staff ready to help patient and kind, glad we stopped in today will be our go to place for pasteries, I really enjoyed what I got and I know the kids loved what we got them, YUM will be back lots of times glad it so close to home! I recommend it to anyone who love's pasteries. Thanks!

And again, my family has 4 generations of people who are absolutely in love with Fosdals. When I took my child's father there 2yrs ago, even he said it had the best Donuts he's ever had in his life. He was 36 at the time.

I've loved this place for as long as I can remember. My first memory of this place was when I was 4yrs old and my mom would take us early in the morning before dropping us off at my grandma's so she could work.
This place has stayed consistent with amazing service, food, and coffee. Their donuts put everyone else's to shame. My favorite is the peanut butter long John. Continuing the tradition today and brought my almost 5yr old son there today. He loved it. My mom used to go there as a kid, and I believe my grandmother as well, at least in her teenage years, she was born in the 40s.

If you love bakery you MUST check this place out. Its a one-of-a-kind, with delicious donuts, small but cozy atmosphere, and friendly people. I stop here every time I drive through Stoughton.

Norwegian bakery in a Norwegian-American town...this Stoughton bakery is worth the time to stop. Today I picked up some fresh baked whole wheat bread, apple fritters, and some chocolate donuts...kicks Dunkin's butt. Get some REAL bakery for a change and stop at Fosdal Home Bakery.
It's a very cute little Bakery. The one thing I really like about it is that at Christmas time they actually make Norwegian cookies. And I look forward to having some this year since I am from Norwegian descendants. They also have Colectivo Coffee there which I love collectivo coffee because it originated from Milwaukee and I go to collectivo all the time so they have very top-notch coffee. Stoughton is a cute little town that represents Norwegian heritage and I really really like going there.

Donuts and Danish are the best, no question. Rye bread is mild and tasty. I highly recommend this bakery.

This Norwegian bakery has probably ly the best donuts in the world I would say if you are driving thru north or south it's worth the detour off the interstate to try some of the best tasting donuts, pastries, and muffins in the world!
