Kelsey and Josh have done a phenomenal job breathing life back into this place. The high-quality product selection, new deli counter and having beer on tap are such lovely touches to this central community hub. Especially after they recently remodeled the place, it really shines inside and looks beautiful. The live music events, movie nights, arcade games, retro coffee grinding machine, fresh food and fantastic sandwiches, espresso drinks, full local wine selection, frozen meals, bags of ice, firewood, canned goods, ready to eat/grab-n-go meals, gas pumps, etc. - the Fort Ross Store is an incredible local resource along this otherwise fairly quiet stretch of Highway 1.
Porta-John available for all travelers. Nice wine and snack selection.

Wonderful little store with a great wine selection, all the essentials, and even a nice deli and bar. The staff is lovely and I'm very grateful to have such a perfect place right in the neighborhood.

Stopped randomly for gas and found the nicest people! Gas pump was acting up so the gentleman working pumped my gas for me. Going extra for others is hard to find these days but not in Fort Ross!
First time in this place and immediately a heavy set Caucasian lady approached me and my family, not to greet us but to tell me that I'm parked blocking the one single gas pump they had. She gave us horrible Vibes and looks, so I told her I would move right away and decided to leave the store. Bad costumer service 😑

Sandwiches are delicious! Super fresh and soft bread. Fresh veggies. Even vegan turkey for an option!

Deli is under construction but I was directed to a couple different places to eat going north. The service here is friendly. Nice place to sit in the back and charge my phone.
I want to express my gratitude to a wonderful person Gina (Jeana?) who works in the Fort Ross store. My friend and I (both quite helpless women) had low pressure in our car tires and Gina helped us check everything and pumped up the tires. Everything was done very fast, friendly with a great attitude. She didn't accept any payment for that. Needless to say it happened right before we had to drive on one of the curviest part of the Highway 1. Thank you very much for being such a kind person. You really made our day.

Located on the route connecting Fort Ross and Jenner, this is a must stop if you are driving through the Sonoma Coast. Conveniently next to some of the best views along the coast, this unassuming general store is stocked with so many awesome specialty and local items I’d never have expected to find! There is an excellent beverage selection (all your favorite wines and beers), delicious food and groceries, and everything you might need on a practical camping or road trip. Josh and Kelsey who run the store together are friendly and knowledgeable and are happy to recommend great hikes and places for dining and visiting in the area. I can’t recommend this store enough!
This is a cute store with a nice area to sit and relax while you have a snack. We were staying at the Fort Ross lodge across the street and had a quick bagel for breakfast. The young couple working at the store were super nice and provided great customer service. This is one of the only stores in the area so if you find yourself in the area and need something to eat or some gas, this is the place to go. The bagels were delicious and loved the tables outside with a nice view of the ocean.
